Banned Falsely - Riot Support Useless

I'd like to say a few things before I start to complain about my ban..

  • I have played over 1200 hours on League
  • I have played for over a year
  • I have supported the game entirely, introducing many of my friends to the game
  • I have spent several hundred dollars in-game
  • The only third party things about my League are LoLwiz from Overwolf, and the Blakinola announcer pack

After playing a normal with a couple of friends, I was randomly permanently suspended for the "use of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs". I instantly contacted support with my concerns, only to be given the line, "The evidence we found on your account confirmed for us that the client played on was modified in a way to give an unfair advantage over others.". After I attempted to investigate my false ban further, Riot has failed to message me back for 3 days. I have wasted so many resources on this game for it to be stripped away for no reason at all. I'd like to be given a little more insight on why I was banned in the first place, and if I get any benefit of the doubt at all.

I don't suggest using any mods other than those that record for replay because they violate the simple principle:_ It is against the rules to alter the player experience in any way from the moment they hit the PLAY button until they go to the post-game recap screen. _

I know that a Rioter said that Overwolf itself was okay, but I am not aware of a ruling on LolWiz or Build of League.

I was terrified when I started using LSI for replays because of that very reason (Oh god don't ban me, I just want replays).

I know that a Rioter said that Overwolf itself was okay, but I am not aware of a ruling on LolWiz or Build of League.

I doubt this had anything to do with any of the mods they listed. Seems more like a case of account sharing, looking at the ranked game history there is some strange shifts on their Summoner spells for some reason...

If you live in America, it's literally the opposite. Besides, Riot has given me no way to even attempt to prove my innocence.

i've been a cop for 3 years, you couldn't be more wrong. in practice, the legal system is guilty until proven innocent. you are a suspect until facts prove otherwise, and being arrested caries the presumption of guilt with it. innocent until proven guilty sounds nice to say, but that's not the way things actually work.

but that's just an off-topic rant, riot can do whatever they want, the terms of service you agreed to says so.

Suspect /=/ Guilty

There still has to be reason and evidence to rule them guilty. They don't just take suspects and throw them in jail without reason and say, "oh well you're guilty until you prove you're innocent".

that's actually exactly how it works. if i have probable cause i can throw you in jail where you will sit until you can prove you are innocent.

i could write a book on how terrible the legal system is, but again, it's off topic. you accepted riot's terms of service, and they can ban you for anything.

What if somebody goes missing? Their siblings, parents, exes, last people who saw them, anyone who talked to them on the day they went missing, are all suspects in that situation. You think the cops have the right to throw all of them in jail until they could SOMEHOW prove that they were not responsible? Honestly?

If you're a cop, I hope you're not allowed to carry a gun.

and you seem to be suffering from reading comprehension problems. if there is probable cause, yes, you can be thrown in jail until you prove your innocence in court. merely seeing someone the day they went missing is not probable cause.

actually, in practice, that's how it works. i'm a bit surprised how ignorant people really are into how the justice system actually works in the real world.

Anyway, if you are innocent then good luck. If you're not, feel free to imagine some veiled insult or whatever I guess. Or play Smite?

Get used to it. Riot is a piece of shit. Their game will never make past amateur in the realm of sports. Its more like a game of tattle tale and the people that get told on first lose.

You were banned because you had just come off a 14 day ban, and you immediately went back to using hate speech. Homophobic slurs are not tolerated, and the punishment after a 14 day is a permaban.
