Losing 20 LP for dodging?
Last I remember it wasn't 20 LP to dodge. It was like 5 LP. Why such a harsh punishment? Sometimes a dodge is absolutely needed to get away from trolls and 5 LP is worth it to get away from these games. 20 LP is outrageous.

you lose 3lp for a dodge and the more you dodge (in a row?) the more you lose.
Yeah, you would'd had to have dodged many times for that to happen since it starts at 3LP.

Solo Ranked Queue
1 queue dodge: 6 minute queue penalty. Lose 3 LP.
2+ queue dodges: 30 minute queue penalty. Lose 10 LP.

Time penalties
All queues dodges give time penalties that prevent you from queuing again immediately after. Those are increased for subsequent queue dodges within a 16 hour window. This time penalty is shared between the various queues, except for ranked team queue.
Yea same here, people doubted me see I didn't make it up. I had to dodge multiple times because of so many trolls in champ select.
I haven't lost any. A buddy dodged twice and lost 20 on his second dodge and a 30 minute lockout timer. First dodge was because he didn't ban a champ in time and second was to dodge troll team comp. I get there being a penalty for dodging ranked in the form of LP loss. I agree with longer and longer lockouts ( and I think they should be longer earlier personally ) but to jump from a 3 lp to a 20 lp loss seems a bit harsh. First time his mistake ( that's a whole different issue....i mean what if somebody doesn't want to ban any champs ) but the second was to dodge a complete troll team.
For clarity I understand there are penalties. I agree there should be penalties. This just seemed completely out of the blue to jump from 3 LP to 20 LP.
