Early surrender vote should not allow 1 person to hold everybody else hostage

Surrender votes should not even exist. Idiots keep trying to surrender perfectly winnable games. I lost count on how many games i won with someone trying to surrender every 3 mins and only failing to do that cuz someone else beside me voted no.

Neither should 4 bad players who never learn to play and use this crutch to go screw up another game faster instead of actually learning how to prevent the reason for this to be a thing in the first fucking place.

Riot already intends to change the Early Surrender requirement from a unanimous vote (5/5, 4/4, etc.) to a vast-majority vote (4/5, 3/4, so on) in the near future.

Why allow two people to keep 3 hostage? Or 3 to keep 2 hostage, or hell, even 4 to keep 1 hostage!

The part I don't understand:

4 vote yes, 1 vote no = game over 4 vote yes, 0 vote no = game on

Then it wouldn't be an unanimous vote.
