Is gg ez still reportable?

I remember long ago Lyte came out saying something along the words of "gg ez" being reportable due to it always having a negative, unsportsmanlike nature. Just wondering if it's still reportable. I run into so many players that say it, and I thought for sure if it was a reportable offense, they'd refrain from saying it.

If you report someone for saying GG EZ then you need to go find a new game lol. I don't say GG EZ inless the other team was really cocky but jesus get over it.

It is reportable but you have to take into account a couple of things.

  • Did he Just say "ggez" without anything uttered before that?

Well in that case I wouldn't really report it. Reporting for the sake of getting someone punished is not my thing. It doesn't change the outcome of the game and it really doesn't bother me much. People like to boast.

  • Did he spam emotes, bm and had some toxic remarks before "ggez"?

In that case i would report it. Behaviour like that is sure to tilt anyone. It probably contributed to your tilt and the reason why you want to report them. It goes beyond boasting at that point and just serves to insult.

Basically report it if it impacts you. If it doesn't, just leave it be. Some people just like to boast and pump their ego.

Whether it is or it isn't, you should try my method of handling people who type gg ez:

I think silently in my head "go f*** yourself," then I click the home button and re-queue. is it really that tough to ignore a single comment when you can click one button and be removed from it?

I am a firm believer that level of toxicity needs to be reduced and constant offenders should be dealt with harshly, but at what point do people need to get an epidermis that is just a teeny tiny bit thicker?

When someone's literary "fckin" with you, making fun of you or having 0/18 and winning only because his team is strong..........and then he writes GGEZ.. I swear I would go and smash his head. Instant report. bye.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

I'm on board with the whole reporting for negative behavior, verbal abuse and hate speech and all.. but this one is harmless IMO. Doesn't offend me at least. I don't stick around post game to see that stuff anyway.

You can report anything you want. The question is will they do anything about it? Doubt it.

sure its reportable. so is the enemy emoting at you. report someone for whatever gets you upset.

but you should know no one is getting punished for either thing.

Definitely still reportable. I got a penalty just yesterday for unsportsmanlike behavior lol.. This game is so soft. I usually say it when the enemy team trash talks a lot but I still end up winning. It appears you can't say anything in this game without getting reported lol. Either way, I'm done saying it because I'm not trying to get banned. I had the penalty notification pop-up but it doesn't appear like anything happened, I guess it was just a warning. No chat ban or anything.

Comments like those, even if it was report able, can't amount too much because of 1: how weak it is and 2: how often it happens. It is stuff like this that people complain that the report system is broken down.

I don't care, but I am just stating why.

It's unsportsmanlike conduct and as such reportable. I don't do it though, specially since I play with /all chat disabled so I won't ever even know somebody said in the first place.

Have you seen the chat. People say way worse things in chat than gg ez
