Kalista can AA friendly GP's barrels

As the title says, Kalista can auto-attack an allied Gangplank's barrels. I witness this during a game with my buddy's yesterday. It occurred during a match on the Twisted Treelines. Not sure it map has anything to do with it. She was able to hop and everything. The barrels received no damage from the AAs.
