Any word on the Tribunal?

Anyone know if the plans to bring the Tribunal back were canned or not? Riot likes to brag that they reduced toxicity with the automated system... but that's just not true.

Only difference is people have gotten a little more creative in their flaming and raging. Sure, they can't say things like "kill yourself" or various other slurs, but that's about ALL the automated system is good for. Keywords only.

If anything, the toxicity has gotten worse, because now people are stopping to think about what bile they type out, and those barbs are a lot more vicious than simple "go f**k yourself" followed by random curse-words.

Maybe it's because I play pretty much just draft and ranked... but I see toxic jackasses in about every game I play in. Occasionally, I'm one of them. I don't rage or flame in the traditional toxic manner... but after a string of toxic games, I'm one of those idiots who will call for an early ff. Tribunal would have given me at least a warning by now.

Automated systems do NOT WORK. Player moderation was not perfect... but it was more considerate and I saw way fewer "I got banned for bullshit reasons" posts. Because all your bans were player reviewed. The community had some feedback in policing themselves. Sure, it had flaws... but at least people felt like there was something they could DO about the toxicity.

I used to type reasons when I reported someone, because I felt like it would help people in the tribunal to figure things out. Now it's automated, so what's the point of that? Barring perma-ban cases, it's not like a human being will ever read it. And the Ban-Bot sure as hell isn't smart enough to.
