RIOT'S ISSUE WITH AFK'S IN BRONZE

so over my last 10 to 14 games i have encountered either trolls or afk's in more then half of my games. I literally went for b4 with 70 lp to now b5 2 lp in a matter of 3 days and this many games. feel free to look me up on lol king if u want but i had 180 cs at 20 minutes as miss fortune in the last game it was a awesome close game until our mid laner went afk and we lost. All im asking is what is riot actually doing about this issue. i lost almost 170 lp in 3 days due to afk's and trolls and all i can do is hit report and try to gain the elo back. I know im not the only person having this issue, thoughts on what to do or a way riot can improve this system cause im getting to the point it dosnt even feel like i wanna play any more cause there is gonna be a afk or someone trolling for fun cause they are on their smurf account. Riot please respond or fix this crap ur killing my mmr and im sick of ur crap. oh btw dont match new league players with second and third season players, i get its ranking based but game knowledge is a thing and they dont have it.

If it makes you feel any better, it sounds like testing is going to start soon for a remake feature on the PBE, which allows you to early surrender if a player never connected and no kills have occurred yet in game (only the DC and his premade will take the loss). Remember, the PBE is a place to test new things, and not everything makes it to live servers, though if it go through we can probably expect it in 6.10 or 6.11.

I realize that this doesn't fix all issues with DC's in particular, but this is just about the only thing that Riot can do that is fair to all players and cannot be abused.

its low B5, they feel they have nothing to loose so they AFK / troll.

get to B3 and it'll be a bit better.

If you look at the stats, bronzies only have a marginally higher rate of afks as compared to other elos and they're all pretty low. If there's an afk in a game, it's more likely to be on the enemy team anyways. Or you could do the super safe route and dynamic boost... i mean dynamic queue to ensure you get 0 afks
