i got banned for 14 days for responding to player harassment. i am a casual player since i have a job i can only play weekends and vacations like this week. i had never been banned like this for the last like 5 years when i played frequently and i assume it is for the same reason: dont play often, get harassed, respond, get reported, system probably checks frequency of gameplay and assumes i am pretty toxic for the amount i play. i think this is unfair. i honestly think this is very unfair. on any other ocassions this mightve been fine, but this is not cool. can i get a red to talk to, please?

Remember that everyone is judged on their behavior. If you flamed someone because they flamed you, if both of you reported each other, both of you are going to get reviewed by the IFS and both of you are going to have a record. The best way to deal with toxic players is to mitigate your exposure to their toxicity by utilizing the mute function and then reporting them end game.

Also, if you want the forum to give you feedback on your chat log, post your chat log.

Furthermore, if you want to talk to a player behavior specialist, you should use the support ticket system. However, be aware that punishments that were rightly given to you for your behavior will most likely not get reversed.

Finally, if you want a red post, you will just have to hope that Tantram notices your post and replies. You'll notice there's no guarantee that Tantram will reply to you as many posts don't have the riot fist symbol.

should probably state that i play ranked when rusty. i understand their frustration but hey, if 3 people talk shit i respond, i get banned? is the majority always correct? i beg to differ.

So the way the rest of your team acts, bears zero weight on if you get punished. You are solely responsible for your behavior. If they are harassing you, you mute them and report post game.

If you are confused as to why you got punished, you can post your chat logs or contact support with a ticket. You say this is your first ban, but is it your first punishment? Have you had chat restrictions though?

You shouldn't respond to harrassment. If I were you, I wouldn't type in chat for a long while because you are on thin ice, and messing up could result in a perma ban.
