Not trying in ARAM because winning is not the point?

Hi guys, I'm just wondering; is it fair for 3 premades to hold a game of ARAM hostage and not try, but just dick around for 25 minutes? When confronted about not trying, they said something along the lines of "why should we try, it's ARAM" and "wow you must be really fun at parties" and my favorite "/all report LeeroyGandalf for being a virgin since he wants to win in this game". The main reason that i bring this up is the fact that I use ARAMs to warm up or destress, but then when I run into people like this I don't feel like they are being toxic enough to warrant reports (not that riot would do anything about that), but in my eyes, but it kind of contradicts the whole point of queueing up in the first place for a game, and it tilts me even further... Are these thoughts justified, or are those kinds of people allowed to take over games like that?

Nah, you're justified in how you feel.

I've always hated it when teammates refuse to end during a stomp and want to just bm in front of enemy fountain. I just opt to end as quickly as possible and attack the Nexus even if my autistic teammates spam ping me back.

Your thoughts are justified. While having fun is the point of the game rather than winning, it should not be at the expense of other players.

I WILL say that if the person who called the report got punished, that would be hilarious.

The harassment deserves a punish. Its one thing to try to have fun and dick around a bit, its another to harass someone while doing so.

Of course they are going to have fun, since they're playing together as friends, but it's stupid to expect the same from a random stranger they got matched with and to blame him for playing according to the game's rules.

Justified. Welcome to the pathetic new generations. "its not about winning!" " its not about winning or losing its having fun! " Why try to get better when you can run around like a moron. Thats basically league kids. Well that and theyre all IKE's. God forbid you tell them what theyre doing is wrong. Instand "report x " in all chat for being " toxic " Whiny ass brats.

players who don't try have a bad mmr and the players who do try have a good mmr, eventually it's all sorted out, simply play the game and carry their dumb ass, and if you can't, no biggie, move on to the next time and carry that one.

It's sad that reporting them for inting probably won't get anywhere.

Damn me and my 2 friend did that a while ago but it was simply to keep trying to back door with the boots that goes through walls, honetly i hat ending arams because it ruins the fun of playing it, the game is fun when it lasts like 30 min if i try hard in a winnable game it will be over in 12 and i will feel unsatisfied with it.

What I'd do then, is to join in the fun, rather than focus on winning. Each single win is not all that important and you shouldn't get stressed.

Whilee I do think you are justified in feeling like this, I don't think it's necessary.

You are supposed to try to win in every game mode League has. Aram is no exception. If someone isn't trying to win, his behavior is negative at best, and Assisting the enemy ('inting') at worst. It doesn't matter if the player is solo or premade, report them after the match and move on to the next one. Win enough and you climb above their MMR. And they might get punished for their behavior at some point, but I would not hold my breath to see it happen.
