Is there anything in the works for people who take over a pre-game lobby?

I almost had a game where our ADC locked in Riven and just said "I'm top now". Luckily my jungle dodged, but there should definitely be something in the works for people who do this. Maybe something like the surrender vote where 4 people all vote to "remake" the lobby and get a new team? Something like that, I can't imagine what it would've been like if I actually had to play with that guy.

I think a surrender vote in the lobby would disencourage unique picks. Like if someone mains Urgot and wants to go top, they might kick him out when he honestly just is a god with Urgot.

In light of the possible abuse a vote-kick or vote-remake could cause, I think adding an actual dodge button with additional features would be better.

When someone wants to dodge, they would click this button to leave the lobby. Before the lobby closes, give the dodger a prompt asking them why they dodged, similar to the report prompt. Give them reasonable options such as, "Something came up and I don't think I could finish the game" and "I didn't feel like the match would work out in our favor" as well as reporting options like, "Player was threatening to feed" or "Player stole someone's role".

Although only one person would be able to send in a report it would be better than our system that forces people to suffer through the game before reporting. it would also eliminate the hassle of launching the game back up when dodging tactically.

your idea about 4 people voting to remake may sound good but it is one of the worst ideas :

  • firstly nobody wants to remake because its waste of time
  • it is very unlikely that 4 people will vote "remake"
  • this can be easily abused by duo's who can then just take everybodys role without punishment so its basically no change for them

Sadly this problem is rly annoying and yea there should be discussions how to fix this because it can ruin the game for whole team, i wondered if the "kick " can be implemented where the super majority ( 4 out of 5 ) can vote to kick someone and to insta replace him with someone who wants to play this position but it can be abused easily to get a dodge for free or ban people who want to play non meta picks
