Ranked Flex surrender, we were up 10k+ gold and their only excuse was "why not"

I just got out of a game i worked very hard on, going 8/1/1 on riven jungle, i was non toxic and went for objectives. The enemy team had no towers, we had 7 plus inhib down.. we go to baron and the team starts a surrender vote and surrendered.. in ranked, for no reason other than they said "why not", our support said "i was peer pressured into saying yes".. hello?

This was a ranked game, i played to win and had my time more than literally wasted, i lost lp for having this group of people on my team..

Just.. why?

it was a premade and they were planning to throw the game.

Well parties of 4 are unable to play, so this may have been a 3 man and the janna "pressured" into hitting yes.. but theres honestly no reason for this to happen

That's why you don't play flex. That's almost as bad as playing blind mode expecting a certain role.

If you want to play to win, you have a better chance of simply ranked by itself. Not flex ranked. Then you won't encounter such situations.

Honestly I'd consider this a case of extreme trolling and open a ticket. Sounds to me like somehow a 4 man basically snuck its way into flex and fucked you over.

i wonder if this is really a rulebreak. actually its quite funny to me. i saw youtubers do that to toxic people and i myself did that once with a team full of randoms i asked them if they wanna ruin a toxic kids day, started the surrender vote and they agreed and our toxic ezreal lost his shit :D good days in season 3 man...
