If you lose less LP for having an AFK, it not only becomes exploitable (smurf accounts to help your friends or account bots that can now earn money by queuing with someone and AFKing from games that they'd lose) but it also promotes toxicity, as it basically says "you lose less LP of you make a teammate ragequit."
Both of those things are pretty unacceptable.

YambrinZ2 votesHonestly, I used to think the same way, but what can you do? Im sure youve also won games because of an afk, but youll never complain about that now will you? The best thing to do is just use the afk as an excuse to go ham and try and have fun. Try a new build. AFK's will always happen because internet goes out, real life happens, and people will rage quit too. You cant ever stop that, just report and move on. If they consistently afk they will be punished at some point.
