How to get banned for creating and prolonging a negative game environment

Two week ban. Some context; my friends who i met some games prior are on the other team, an Olaf. The enemy Jihn and i had some friendly banter in all chat that game. The matchup is Caitlyn (me) + support Teemo vs Jihn + Rakan. The Teemo was rather disgruntled by the fact that he had to support, so he decided to intentionally feed. In fact, i got lucky that i got first blood but that didn't stop Teemo from farming wave, dying some more intentionally and making bot lane hell until i decided to rotate out for the sake of trying to win the game and making the most of it. But i'm glad that communicating is now seen as "creating and prolonging a negative game environment"

Edit: To clarify one thing, this is NOT the email i got showing the chat log. I logged in and received a two week ban notification, as such i opened a Riot support ticket and asked them what part of the the chat log they feel was deserving of a two week ban and this is what the GM replied. As i said, this is a conversation with a Riot Support Specialist in regards to why i was banned and where they feel i was toxic. The above is a screenshot of the support ticket and Riot's reasoning for keeping the ban.

Are you reposting them under a different account just to stir up trouble? or what is the point of this

He probably blacked it out to comply with board rules, no naming and shaming.

He reposted it in the appropriate board (player behavior) instead of leaving one in GD where is will most likely be locked or removed.

As for your accusation of "Are you reposting them under a different account just to stir up trouble?" is incorrect considering both post are made by the same account, this not only makes you seem vindictive of the person but also ignorant of basic information gathering.

Same account, decided to post in player behavior. And i blacked it out because they iffy on the rules, no naming shaming of anyone. I also censored the GM's name from the email.

If you had a prior punishment (like a 25-game chat restriction), then of course the next step would be a 14-day ban.

I italicized what I feel would have likely contributed to the negativity, and bolded the lines that more-than-likely did. You were needlessly argumentatitve, and what's worse is that you decided to bring up your teammate's supposed misbehavior in /all chat.

(as a sidenote, I'm inserting the screenname of the account which you're posting from, and I'm ready to assume that those three lines with the longer black bars indicate /all chat.)

Your behavior in this snippet of the chat log (which, that's also important to note, is that it's a snippet of the chat log that the Rioter pulled from the whole, so we're not seeing everything here) is negative, and, given the likelihood of prior punishments, does merit a 14-day ban.

If you really were trying to communicate, you certainly flopped pretty hard in that regard, considering that there's only a scant few lines of actual attempts to communicate (low hp, stop fighting, stop shoving, and let me take advantage of first blood - but that last one you had to throw in an accusatory insult for good measure, didn't you?)

The teemo further goes and intentionally shoves out lane when his teammates repeatedly asked him to stop. The only think that could be considered toxic is him stating he was leaving teemo to solo.

How is "let me take adv of it rather than feeding their adc" negative? Or the statement of " he wants to be adc" negative?

It seems to me riot is trying to punish player who have had a previous history of toxicity by trying to alienate them from other players in the forms of honor rewards and hextech crafting, this idea is further enforced with them admitting/stating that they were being too harsh on player being stuck on **Honor level 0 ** for excessive period of time.

In this case him using over 15 lines of chat and using the word/phrase "feeding their adc" while having 2 previous punishment is what got him a ban.

True enough, I'll change it to italicized, because it's still a potential factor into the punishment.

It's him accusing the Teemo of feeding. Regardless of whether or not it's true, it still contributes to a negative environment.

Paired up with the fact that it follows the OP declaring that he's abandoning Teemo, and that it's in /all chat, it's clear that he's trying to get the enemy team on his side. There's no use for such a declaration in /all chat.

The op used 3 lines of chat at the start directed at teemo in regards to lane strategy, than the OP used 4 lines of chat after possible negative chat log to resolve the problem with teemo directly, the next few chats are him giving a statement to his team regarding his departure from botlane and a explanation to "why" his teammate want to report him followed with him giving another **statement of fact ** to why he doesn't want to go bot.

This mean OP used a total of 7 chats directed at a player who is directly involved with OP in terms of being a botlane.

It seems to me (and 100+ people in the GD thread) that this punishment is ludicrous

I'm not allowed to rotate out of an intentionally feeding lane and let my team know im rotating out? You make sense.

The plat 3 was in response to a question. Where was anything that was considered an insult. FOH with your care bear bs. That entire sequence is communication and really polite communication at that.

Arguing requires continued verbal interaction, I spoke to teemo twice that game, 5 seconds each. That's not an argument. Communicating is now deemed as arguing. Damn white knighting is real.

And it wasn't an accusation. He was spammed his emote and ran into the Jihn to try and give him first blood without even fighting back. Ran around in a circle. I ended up getting first blood instead because i outplayed the Jihn. Did my best to get him into the game, he was mad he didn't get adc. I can't help that, nor did i say anything toxic to him that justifies a 2 week ban. There was ONLY Game 1 chat log and when i emailed GMs about this, they said this was the section that was the reason i got banned. Yeah.. "Toxic"

Teemo provides excellent vision you can turn a fight with his shrooms and even has a blind there is a reason feel was labeled support a few seasons ago.

The teemo was trolling by messing with the minion wave and being unsupportive in lane, which is what trolls like to do in platinum games.

Maybe he didn't want his tower taking damage so he killed the enemy minions...is that possible?
