Can RIOT clearly state that calling for False reports is Harassment ?

Every single day i am getting harassed by somebody calling the team for False reports. Players **don't even know **that this is considered as harassment and calling for reports only provokes negativity and disunity. Even if person deserves to be reported, shouldn't it be a personal decision ?

Please RIOT can you explain clearly to the community that calling others for reports is inappropriate and calling others for False reports is punishable ? Thank you.

They said not so long ago that it isn't punishable

its not about whether a report is legit or not,if you askfor a report once 10 seconds before the end of the game theres no harm if you start calling people trolls and spamming asking for reports its harasment

If I remember correctly Riot has stated report calling in general is no good.

You can ask for report if the enemy can CLEARLY see the person intentional feeding or being toxic in all chat which the enemy can obviously tell if he is toxic or not which people can ask for report on, what Riot meant for not asking for report is when enemy can 't tell if the person is feeding or having just a bad game and not being toxic in all chat.

it is a personal decision, asking for reports come from a culture 4 yrs back where the validilty of the report came from a majority system. The system doesn't work that way anymore, yet the community hasn't caught on yet, cos there isn't a clear enough education system in regards to how the system works.

btw, did you know that it is the community that makes the rules? if majority of the community is reporting on something, then it will become punishable.

They need to do something because if one player ina premade says to the enemy to report someone and lies about it, there's nothing the teamate can do to prove they didnt

I saw this post today straight from the mouth of a rioter (so to speak)

The only time I have personally "called for a report" was really just to remind people the feature is there for people who already agree someone is being OBVIOUSLY toxic.

I honestly have had games where I mute people and if a teammate doesn't remind us at the end or in the endgame chat I would have been too focused on the game to remember. Only downside to the mute button. xD

On the other hand, when it's coming from the enemy team, I will admit when people do it in /all I watch and see weather the person calling for it is really the toxic one and most of the time I end up reporting them. :\

If your team is calling for you to be reported every single day maybe you should take a look at what you're doing.

OK, so you agreed that I'm right. I wasn't getting that with your responses before. And all of your other points/contribution are not relevant; saying that there is this other instance that ISN'T toxic doesn't contribute in any way. Laddering this back up to the original post, OP said that he was getting reported every match and I said that if he is getting reported every match, then he probably deserves it.

They know. They could send personal emails to every player, but there's still gonna be people calling for reports.

It's not even necessary to ask for reports. 1 Report flags the system the same way 9 reports do. It just flags the game for review.

If you have the opportunity, you should inform them it only takes 1 report. Most players don't know that.

I feel like the enemy team would report your team for 'false' reporting that one rager/inter on your team.
