What is the punishment for sharing accounts?

Hi,

I had someone in my game who was a Diamond player and played, let's say, as if he's never played before. He started playing without building any items, etc xD

Now later in the game he said * this is not my account* or something like that. But it clearly stated that it is not his account he is playing on.

I reported the guy but he is still playing.

I once read you get a perma ban for account sharing. That not true ?

sharing is same has elo boosting permanent ban is the reward. But it won't be done overnight they will have to do proper check up which can take quite awhile.

Personally, I think if its a couple of games, of where for example The older brother is diamond and one day his little brother comes in and asks if he could play a game or 2 a lot of people would say sure, so if its just few normal's i don't think any action should be taken at all, but on the other hand if it is constant and is in rank i do believe some action should be taken but overall is hard to control and enforce this rule

Yes, a permaban is the result. Typically not enforced for Normal games though.

The punishment is permanent ban as far as I know. Submit a ticket if it concerns you a lot with any proof you have, and they will look into the matter.
