Thought Idea for "a taste of your own behaviour. "

I was just parsing through some of these threads and it in interesting to see a common denominator, people telling other players "you suck" , "Uninstall" , "stop playing league" .. and then thinking this type of behavior is fine.. And I try to wrap my head around how one would think these statements are OK, let alone come into a forum and post asking if these types of statements are OK . Just baffles me.. How would you not think these words are hurtful.. Maybe they just don't know, because they are always on the giving end of it and never the receiving end.

Then my mind wondered off as it always does.. (BTW my mind is a fun place to be.. lots of fun thing go on in there.. a total palace of pandemonium. ) .. A thought experiment ... If only these players could get a taste of their own behavior.. HOW FUNNY WOULD IT BE? If only RIOT creats some back end code that when these type of toxic players that criticize everyone else's game play get flagged in a chat, and are facing a ban.. rather than ban them.. Route a few of them into custom game queue with Pro - Challenger players (using low level accounts) who are in on this project .. Have these Pro players Mop the floor with them, meanwhile commenting on how bad they are .. how they should uninstall... are they 90 years old ? ... Quit league and take up playing the recorder or harmonica instead .... etc.. Maybe even throw in some intentional Lag spikes to mess with the their game play.. Then interview these players with behavioral issues and asked them how they felt during the game, after the game.. and if they learnt anything that can help them with their future behavior ...

Kind of like those viral video's of pro athletes dressing up like elderly people , and mopping the floor with people in the basketball court or skateboard park. Except here we have the video open with an interview of our naughty player talking about how he would get on league and trash talk everyone, without really realizing how the person on the other end felt. Followed by video + audio highlights of him getting slammed repeatedly by out challenger team.. along with razzing comments in chat /all. Finally a feel good ending with an interview of our naughty player on how he felt getting beat.. and how helpless he felt. and how those comments made him feel.. And what he learnt from it.. and how he will change going forward.. etc..

Then post a few of these video's in the league splash screen for every ones educational entertainment. :)

Just a thought.. lol ...

How about Rito just ban them and skip creating a public relation firestorm?

Sounds like a scheduling nightmare.

Plus I'm sure they already experience games where they get stomped and are still just as salty.

So not sure if they'll feel anything different than saltiness at the end of the game.

Story twist: The apocalypse slams down on us because the insulting players beat the pro players just by picking easy-to-play op champs. "Where hast the balance gone?!", a wise league sage screamed from the top of a stormy mountain. Then NA meta zombies spread over the world like a plague. People send their hopes of stopping the invasion towards EUW... only to find that only sheep live there.

China panicked. Their golden goose was not lucrative anymore! After a lengthy discussion during the coffee break, China decided that if they can't profit from LoL, no one will. So they sent their nuclear bombs to end us all.

The end.

Better idea: people who are easily offended use the Mute button. Verbal abuse shouldn't even be reportable, there is a hard-wired button you can push to make it all go away. When someone is griefing or AFK, on the other hand, there is no button to reclaim the ELO they're going to make me lose. That's the real crime, but one that Riot pays the least attention to.
