challanger smite top?

Hi,

I only write this beacause, I've seen yesterday a topic were some high elo player got 14 days ban, beacause he played support nunu with smite - and even if personally I don't understand why was he banned for that, I have watched that video, nobody in his team had any problem with it, all they did was talking trash about phreak, but not to the smite nunu dude - this guy does pretty much the same thing, with his hecarim top with smite - even if I don't think he intended to play heca with smite on top, but he did -.

So we have 2 similar situations, of high elo games - think same server - that are treatead differntly. And besides that, I think RIOT should make 2 separates sets of rules for " Diamond 5 and above, and Plat 1 and below ", since the same rules don't apply to high elo as to low elo. Since I play low elo, gold 5 or so, and I've seen far more worse things and nothign happend, I don't belive that If I was to report ... a support with smite, anything would happend to him ( and I have seen it, several times - granted, it was not intended, just forgot to change, however the effect is the same).

ye i played with that nunu on my main and he was super cool and actually helped.

its basically an off meta way of ruining their junglers life.

we dominated that game with me just snowballing off the enemy jungler beingbehind

The main difference here is how he plays it.

Support nunu doesn't play support, he counter jungles leaving his adc to 1v2, which in the adc's shoes, sucks really badly..

Smite hecarim top isn't hurting anybody but himself in the process of his strategy. He may get flamed at the defeat screen like "gg no tp ganks" or something dumb, but he's not going to be a leading cause for why the team is upset, unlike support nunu at blue buff and 0/3 varus which stands out like a soar thumb. You're not changing how you or your team are going to play the entire game by just taking a different summoner spell top lane.

Basically; Support smite nunu isn't playing support, top smite hecarim is still playing top. Smite hec isn't reportable, but the strategy nunu is doing is very questionable at least.
