So if someone drops a hard R in chat to start the game. What is there to do?

do you really just report and hope that riot does something? i even screenshot it just to get it. obv not gonna post here cause that will drop the name and its against board roles.

heres the thing he said id. then when i stated to the enemy team he was flaming and dropped it he denied it, and his duo also said i was lying. LIKe boi i got a photo of it you want it? idk.

how do people get away with it and still keep playin. obv if he aint afraid to drop it once he will do it again. but it shouldnt go unnoticed right?

Report, send a ticket, wait. Racial slurs are instant 14 day bans.

Report, manual ticket, police, ambulance, NSA, CIA/FBI, military, NATO, Trump, and start praying to all the possible gods there. Call these authorities in this order, to make sure that person can't play LoL again for saying a word.

Plan B: Buy Rito, delete LoL, nobody can play again ;)

Are you talking about the R word that relates to people with learning disabilities? Or am I forgetting some worse word?

Just report him after the game and move on. If he continues being toxic he will get banned

Idk why you're making such a big case out of this. Its like if somebody said this word in public would you call the police on them?

Yes its toxic and he deserves a report, but I definitely dont think it justifies taking screenshots and sending a report ticket. As support ticket reports are for "extreme cases" and from what you described this definitely doesnt sound extreme.

You report them and move on with your day knowing full well you'll probably never interact with this person again and he wont be able to hurt you anymore.

What do you want to happen? You want Riot to hold public trials?

Just out of curiosity, what is the hard R? I'm thinking r%%%%%, but I'm not sure that is considered ZT in-game.

I've been seeing an increase in people typing k#s in the game as well as the word r####d and although I don't take offense at r####d, sometimes the way they type it makes me really annoyed because they do it to try to end an argument as if an insult trumps logic. I don't know why they think they can get away with this stuff, but then on the other hand toxicity has been so rampant the past week or so that I can't even be bothered to report everyone that should be getting reported. It's just way too much effort.

I don't mind doing what I can for the community, but at some point the toxicity crosses over the line from being abusive yet tolerable to vicious and unrepentant. The sad thing is that there probably shouldn't even be a line there. But there is, at least for me. And I find it ironic that people that have been abused(well it's happened in the past but I'm not sure if it still happens, some would claim it does) and don't know any better than to abuse others get targeted by the punishment system instead of the great majority of toxic players who are vicious and unrepentant(whether they know any better is irrelevant, these are the kind of people who cannot change).

Man, either you really don't know how the system works or you have absolutely no faith in them.

The system punishes people based on consistency x severity. So depending on their behavioral history, they may get punished that game. If they don't get punished in that game, then it will contribute to their punishment down the road.
