Hardstuck Level 2 Honor | How do you even get out?

Hey there.

A few months ago(December 2017) I was chat restricted(for telling someone to kys in a flame war but I realize it was too excessive, got what I deserved), it brought my level 4 honor to level 0.

Since then I kept a positive attitude, this was proven by the amounts of honors I received per match. However it seems like I can't progress past Level 2, I started the season as level 1 and in a really short amount of time(like 2 weeks or so) I managed to get to level 2.

So now, it's been almost 4 months since my last level up, and I've been playing consistently(only ranked) and man. this is much harder to climb back compared to when I dropped to Gold V with low silver MMR..

I am not sure how the honor system works, but something doesn't seem right. For just one chat restriction it seems like I've been locked to Level 2 forever? You don't even realize how many people I had to mute because they were too toxic but then again they popped up with level 4-5 trinkets ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The punishment is too harsh, it's unbelievable that for over 400 games I am still stuck level 2, DESPITE keeping a positive attitude over all the course of my games, muting people that are just too toxic, and trying to keep my teammates motivated to win.

It feels like my efforts of being a sportsman player doesn't get recognized and kinda makes me sad about it.

On a side note: All my smurfs are level 3+, some almost reaching level 4 and I've only played 10% of the matches I played on my main so I don't really know what's wrong.

TL;DR: Hardstuck level 2 after playing 400 games, while keeping a sportsman like behaviour.

Is/Was anyone else in the same situation as I am? If so, did you manage to get out?

If you really want to climb honor ranks, it isn't just about not being a negative, toxic player, it's about ACTIVELY being positive. Reassure people when they make mistakes, shotcall, keep the mood light.
