Star wars spoilers - report worthy?

I've seen the movie; and while I'm not personally affected by spoilers because of that, I can't help but feel awful for those who haven't seen it and have the MissFortune of having it ruined by spoilers in game. (Heh, see what I did there?)

A player (an MF player actually, now how do you like that) in one of my recent games let loose a pretty huge spoiler in all chat and then justified it by saying it was because they were angry. Like man, even if you're angry why do you have to completely ruin something so many people have been waiting so long for?

So I dunno, it isn't technically abuse, though it's a serious drag for someone who hasn't seen it yet. Maybe under unsportsmanlike conduct or something? I honestly don't know, what do you guys think?

This is a sticky thread right now. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/qEqEd205-were-closing-the-blast-doors-on-spoilers-this-weekend-updated-with-new-punishment

They're cracking down hard on the boards for it. I'm not sure how that translates to their policy on in-game behavior, but it's obvious they are not happy with it.

Bro. You are a dick if you ruin that movie. Like, I've seen it, and it would've ruined the entire thing for me to know what happened.

I can't believe 4 people voted YES because of just that which means they just report others if someone does something stupid or something that they don't want to see. This is very serious problem that riot needs to remove either reporting system or chat system.

IIRC, Reddit has been perma-banning people left, right, and center for mentioning Star Wars spoilers.

At the very least, I would report them.

Just thinking about this triggered me.

I legit reported someone for that last nigh. Fortunately I saw it Thursday night. I know it's not ban worthy but I reported them just out of principle for being an ass.

If it was because they were angry, aka, it was done with malicious intent, then I'd say that's definitely a negative attitude and is report-worthy.

I donno how riot would handle that. If you do feel it should be punished you should submit a support ticket to report them and detail what happened. I doubt the automated system is going to pick up on this. I'm not sure if they would consider it punishable but they probably would. Just like many other punishable things its just another way to use words to hurt someone.
