Did anyone level up from honor zero to level 2 yet? How long does it take?

Hey all,

I got a 14 day ban 09/20/2017 (20 September that is). I have played A LOT of games since then, I have no idea how much but certainly 10+ a week, more like 15. It has been well over 2 months, or roughly 79 days now. How long does it take to level up?

Anyone else who already did so?

I've read someone said it took them 3 months to become honorable from an active player.

There are a few that have posted here saying they've regained their honor, but there isn't an exact number because everyone has their own behavioral history. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind that affect your honors progress:

  • Whether or not you get honored
  • Whether or not you are getting the team honor bonus
  • Whether or not you are getting validly reported

15 games a week is not considered alot. It may be around average at best.

It took the most active members with positive behavior 5 weeks to go from Honor2 to Honor3, considering they get honored way more than you and probably play more games than you (chances are you are getting validly reported as well), it probably will take much more than that for you to get to Honor1.

First question... when you look at your profile, is your honor insignia still locked? You don't begin earning honor again until that has been unlocked. And it stays locked for a little while after your ban. So, while it's been 79 days, you may have only been earning honor for half of that time, or less, depending on whether you were still being reported in matches.

Once your honor insignia is unlocked on your profile, you'll begin to earn honor again, and it will go up. Just play consistently positive games. (As in non-toxic, not referring to kda)

Took around a month for me to go from 0 to 1. Took another month to go from 1 to 4.

If you read through the boards, you'll see that the threshold for becoming honor level 1 again is actually to NOT be dishonorable.

This means getting honored by teammates means nothing if you're still getting reported for flaming, harassing, being excessively negative, etc... and the IFS finds those reports to be true and accurate about your behavior.

Your best bet is to learn to never hit the enter key if it's for the purpose of expressing anger, frustration, disappointment, etc... The IFS can also pick up on sarcasm and so can everyone who reads chat logs so don't even try it. You're only going to hinder your own honor advancement.
