I played Fiddle support recently, and the game didnt go very well. Teammates got angry and flamed eachother and said I was gonna get perma banned. You cant get banned for a bad game right? Even if its several people that report you for it? They were quite unpleasant and felt the need to flame and really spam and make sure that I "knew" that I was gonna get permad, theyd write on the forums and make a petition even one of them said, I am not gonna mention any names cause I am pretty sure thats agaisnt Riots Forums rules.

Just a small curious thought from me, I am quite new to the forums so I'd love a thought in response.

If you flamed them back, you might be vulnerable. But it sounds like you simply ignored it in-game, which is good. Mute is also your friend in situations like this.

Probably just mute them and go onto the next game. And I don't think you can get banned for a bad game unless you actually fed really hard intentionally/Was being toxic.

  1. system has the ability to filter out false reports, don't worry about getting falsely reported.

  2. mass reports don't make people get punished faster. It's purposely programed that 1 report = 9 reports to prevent premades abusing the solo dude.

  3. surely you know this already, but you don't get punished for playing off-meta nor would you get punished for playing bad. Unless they can prove your intent was to mess people over, then it will be a different story.

we lost lane pretty hard and I died 5 times. Wasn't toxic, calmly told the player who were flaming the most that I was merely having a bad game.

thanks for the responses! I'll just have to make more use of the mute button I guess. I really think its a shame tho, cause I personally enjoy the chat part of the game. I've meet some nice people (surprise) while I've played.
