Why my 14 day suspension was the best thing to ever happen to me

Over the course of the last 3 years I've played league had my share of getting angry at my team. either from certain member of the team going 0-5 then still thinking they can 3v1 people or when my team blames me for something. for me that usually followed me replying to them, in a negative way obviously. Well a few weeks ago I was hit with a 14 day suspension. The specific game that set me over my mid laner was 0-7 and he was yelling at our jungler who"never helped him" and my adc and support who were both 0-5 and 0-7 and they were yelling at eachother. I was nasus so I was just trying to focus on my Q's well the entire game they were yelling swearing and calling eachother names. So the last 60 seconds of the game I decided to say "you all suck, bunch of feeding fa#@otts" well that was enough to push me into the 14 day suspension. At first I was pissed but it gave me time to do other things until my account was playable again. I've been back on my account for a couple weeks now and honestly even my really crappy games are so much less stressful than before. It's like a switch flipped in my head. when stupid things happen now, feeding teamate, teammates calling me out it's like automatic. i get mad and the impulse to retaliate fires BUT instantly it turns back down and I don't feel the need to say anything because I know if I do the way I use to I'd lose my account for good. Even games where my team is getting destroyed I shake my head at stupid mistakes and people talking crap but I don't even feel the need to voice it anymore. Now even in my loses I don't feel as frustrated as i did in games of similar before the suspension. With that I also feel like my play is better, I'm more focused on what I need to do in each match to win. I'm even on a pretty good winstreak today :)
