Horrible punishment system

League of legends. Please tell me how I am wrong in this instance. I was in a game as jungle and you know what happens when everylane loses? you get shit talked the game because its your fault, so what do I do? I try explaining to my teammates how its not completely my fault considering I was tripling the other junglers kill participation. A renenkton went as far as talking the whole game so I calmly responded to him. everytime he was intiating the conversation and I was proving him wrong with facts throughout the game. I let one word out, one. its not even that bad of a ward, ''chicken sucker''. obviously chicken was something else but im not sure if it lets me put it here. I come back next day with a 10 day chat ban? I highly doubt the people in charge don't look at chat logs considering the renekton started every conversation and I tried defending myself with 1 mishap of a ward choice. The system needs changed or let educated people be in charge of the punishment system. Thankyou Riot Games.

Muting is defending yourself. Arguing back with someone toxic never achieves anything except increase the chance of getting yourself punished.

I encourage you to post your full and unedited chat logs if you truly feel you didn't deserve punishment.

lets see... using autism as a derogatory term, talking about committing suicide, negativity. all grounds for punishment i believe, not sure about you wanting to commit suicide but it might still flag. also if you need to talk to someone about suicide i would call a hotline or talk to a trusted friend, family member, therapist(might be a good idea), or adult(depending on your age).

also riot doesn't care who started it or what they said or did when it comes to your account. it is your behavior and reactions that decide if you are punished or not. best way to "defend" yourself if by just saying "i'm trying my hardest man", "pls chill", "can you please leave me alone" and then mute/report them.

btw name shaming isn't allowed on the boards so i'd remove their summoner name

I highly suggest you share your chat logs because i highly doubt it was more then just one line of "cock sucker" which caused punishment. Its usually caused by consistently having similar behavior in many games. Or in the case severe toxicity its an escalated punishment to a 14 day ban.

FYI: Its not a 10 game chat ban, its a restriction. You can still chat.

Also the best way to defend yourself is to mute them, NOT retaliate back.

It's always the same if u try to defend urself u get a report. Don't ever type back cuz riot GIVES Zero fuks about what the others say in chat.
