Que penalties for BSODs; why are there no systems to detect when a 'leave' was out of player control

Is there not a way for the client to detect when a player quits a match versus when their computer fails them? Almost all of my "leaves" are becuase I've had my computer fail on me for one reason or other; mostly becuase it's ability to hold a stable internet connection (wifi and, quite recently, ethernet) has become techy over the years. As reasons like this are out of a players control, why are we punished for them? I had just played a match as Jhin and expeirenced a failure of both my wifi and ethernet during it. Managed restart my computer and connect to the match and played on for a few more minutes until my team gave in, and stopped trying to win. Yet, when I reached the results screen I was informed that I was put into a low priority que even though I had reconnected to the match? Why is there not a system in place to detect when a player is forced from it for reasons beyond their control?

The answer, while unfortunate, is simple and reasonable; players can easily spoof "unavoidable issues", and real unavoidable issues still cause problems and need to be fixed.

If Riot gave leniency for these things not only would players abuse it, but the ones with real issues would have little to no incentive to fix their problem. Riot absolutely has to treat all leaves equally so that they are less of a problem in the long run.

I could pull my power plug and have it registered as not my fault.

Also the unstable connection thing is pretty similar to the mom called me for dinner argument. It's seemingly out of your control but not really and the fact that it happened outside of your control doesn't remove the consequences for the other people. There are players on completely garbage setups unsuitable for any game except candy crush playing in a cafe on public wireless complaining about afk checks and bans and how they dc all the time. Just ask rioters.
