The support who I got paired with; was raging, griefing, sabotaging my lane, and rage quit did not get punished. I searched the player up and the he/she played two games after our game. Funny thing is I got banned instantly. I literally get reported out of spite/anger and the troll walks free. At a loss of words.

she might have been raging too I can imagine, but league runs on an escalation penalty system. for all we know, she could have been chat restricted.
nitroxity2 votesI wasn't verbally abusing anyone. The whole game I was being verbally abused by the troll and teamates that reported me. They got mad at Sona and accused me of trolling/ calling me a bad player. I never once said anything to my teamates except plead that I wasn't trolling with the Sona.

FOR JUSTICE2 votesof course I can tell by the chatlog that you two were in fact going back and forth, but again, for all we know this could be her very first offence and therefore only got a chat restriction, if punished at all (because riot actually does give some leniency when it comes to the punishment system)
but the reason they leave others' out is because they're trying to tell you others' actions shouldn't affect your own behavior. at the end of the day though, either one of you could have muted the other, and stopped it before anyone was punished tbh.
also troll and greifers most certainly do not get away, just by pissing you off and getting you to flame back, you are now a flamer, and therefore get punished for verbal abuse. it sucks, but there's a reason its a general rule to not feed the trolls.
nitroxity1 votesI've seen players get lesser punishments for spamming racial slurs and other nasty things in chat that are way worse. But riot deems this one single game worthy of a 14 game ban is ridiculous. And it's definitely not fair if the troll walks away free. First offence or not; he/she was the one raging since the beginning, sabotaging me on purpose, and literally saying how she's refusing to help me. I wouldn't mind a chat ban but c'mon...it's not fair at all.
FOR JUSTICE1 votesThen its likely you have been punished before, and therefore escalated to the next punishment teir. If this is your first offence, then open a support ticket.
Also racial slurs are an immediate 14 day.
