Wish reports could actually do more...

I'm sorry to say, but reports need to do more. They only seem to punish people if there's at least 4-5 people reporting the player. Unfortunately, when the toxicity is aimed towards you... both from a 12 yr old enemy Fizz and two teamates, you're the only one doing any reporting. Like shit, I was trying to stay quiet and hold it in for the whole game. But then, it was just too hard and I just end stfu pigs and muted them. Honestly i like how "/mute all the useless %%%gots" works to just mute then all lol. Ah well, just stating that reports need to be a little more powerful.

It doesn't matter how many reports a player receives after 1 game. If it's 1 or 9 reports, it does not hasten punishment for the reported player.

After being reported for a few games, the system will then investigate the player's chat logs and if numerous insults / toxicity is detected, the system will punish the player.

Reports are validated by the system, meaning any false reports will be thrown out and the false reporters' future reports will be taken less seriously by the system.

Not how it works. 1 report flags the game for review as much as 9 reports.

it seems like it doesn't do anything cos you only get a notification if the game you reported the person in was the game that got someone punished, and not when it is building a case towards the player.

We also don't know if you'll get notifications if someone only got chat restricted.

As you mostly don't see the system actually working, many perceive the system doesn't do anything.

The good thing is, Riot is looking to improve on behavioral visibility. Hopefully it will tell us more what our reports our doing.

Though we probably won't get that feature until after the new client is on live and running smoothly (right now the alpha client still has bottle neck issues, and takes forever to display the contents between pages).
