AFKs in Ranked

I'm not sure if this belongs here but I have a question. Why is there nothing to help out people who get AFKs in ranked? In this post, I have a picture of a game I had where both the Jayce and the Lee left the game. What isn't included in that image is the LP loss. Normally, I wouldn't care much about losing LP, because it is just a game but where's the justice in getting two AFKs and then the game still punishes you after you lose? I would like an actual answer for this and not just reporting an AFK because that doesn't actually prevent AFKs from happening ever again. It would be great to see this problem change and I feel like anybody who has had the same thing happen to them would like change as well.

They won't get punished, the only one who gets punished, would be you, if you opened your mouth. So whenever you see it, don't go flaming on them, don't say anything and let it happen.

Can we get a Rioter to come and answer this? I would like to know if they even have a solution for this or if they're just gonna sit back and do nothing about this.

man, i had a game yesterday and our blitz was afk. I was already on the verge of tilting, because obviously it ALWAYS happens in my team. Then the enemy Sona also goes afk. On one hand I'm glad because now it's even, on the other hand I'm thinking: 20% of the players in this match are afk. Really Riot, 2 player can ruin the game for 8 players and nothing will happen to them? It's sad.

note: our blitz came back after 20min. up until then the game was pretty even (4v4). Then obviously we steamrolled over the enemy team with our team of 5.

To answer your post, you have to remember that players do have emergencies and it’s not appropriate to punish players for legitimate emergencies. As such, players are not going to be punished just because they AFKed one game and you happened to be in it.

Furthermore, you are not being punished for the AFKs. You actually, statistically speaking, gain LP from AFKs as they are more likely to be on the enemy team. It would be unfair and would ruin matchmaking and LP if Riot made the LP loss less or 0 for teams with an AFK on them, hence why it does not happen.
