Why was my summoner name reset?
I'm unsure as to why. :c Summoner name before reset: LoIícon

It likely got a fair amount of reports, as the name does have some...negative connotations...
If my attraction to lolis offend people, and served a right for a reset, then does that mean anyone can have a name reset due to the fact that they don't like the name itself? ex: Let's say I'm offended that you like Madoka ((Totally not btw!)), does that mean I'm able to have your name reset?
Sorry, I'm a little irritated by the matter

I understand it can be irritating when you have a name you like, but it really is likely you were reported because a "lolicon" definitely has ties to something controversial. I personally really don't care what names people have (and sometimes I laugh when I see one particularly amusing), but some people are of a different mind.
I agree agree with that, however I fail to see the violation in the ToS: 5.1 || xi. "Selecting a Summoner name that is falsely indicative of an association with Riot Games, contains personally identifying information, or that is offensive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable."
If it was violated by 'obscene', 'sexually explicit', or dare I say 'otherwise objectionable' (Objectionable as in which any member of Riot may simply say "I don't like it"), my old summoner name had no ties to sexual relations.
Simply put, my username only suggested I have a keen interest/fixation on those who have a youthful appearance. Then again, the 'Objectionable' part...

That last thing you said kind of explains why it happened...
The very idea of lolis and lolicons is highly controversial, and more than likely some people you played with previous felt it was an improper name.
Yeah..
Thank you, by the way. Not only for working with me in finding it out, but as well as sitting here allowing me to vent. I appreciate it.

It's all good. I've had amusing (yet potentially offensive) ideas for names to use, but I am kind of worried people might get the wrong idea. Also, it could easily just be the name-retiring thing someone mentioned earlier.
I've always wanted to change my name to one thing, but it's vulgar even though I'm only mentioning an alcoholic beverage. Further hint: It involves the word 'beach'. Obviously that would serve no grounds for acceptance though.
As for the name retired, that would grant access to a free name change voucher, in which I did not receive.

Sex on the beach is a great drink if you're looking for cheap and fruity
It was more for the simple laughs when people see it. I'm a wine and single malt whisky drinker. c:
At the risk of going extremely off topic, a "sex on the beach" was the first cocktail I legally bought, so it'll always be a little special to me.
That being said, I don't think that name would give you problems. It isn't really that obscene.
Again, that being said, I'm not a Rioter and so my opinion means as much as the next person's.
It was my first drink legally as well.
Thank you for your input. I'll be giving it a try later on. c:
Will let you know if it's against their ToS.
I agree. I'm not a rioter, but I doubt it would be force changed either.
I've personally seen worse.
Open a support ticket. Riot support will tell you exactly what the problem is and should allow you to change your name. Well, at least you get a free name change.
Thank you.
Have you been gone for a long time? Someone could have taken the name.
I was gone for a long time (3 years, I think) But when I came back, I changed it to that.
Not sure then
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolita is the basis of the word.
Also Japan is having a problem with the culture contributing to actual %%%%philia.
So yea.
I'm well aware of the origin of the word. Lolita (A book pertaining to the sexual acts against a minor), which later was adapted to the Japanese culture, loli, meaning "A Japanese slang term which represents a cultural version of a more youthful or childlike female appearance, mostly used to describe fictional characters". Lolicon simply meaning someone who has an attraction/fixation on girls who appear youthful or childlike.
The issue with the word is that it has been misunderstood as %%%%philia. Something that is morally wrong to the public mind, but is not illegal unless acted upon.

Right, but in Japan, it isn't just 'those who have an youthful appearance'.
Correct, it could as well refer to those of adolescent or pubescent age. But again, not illegal. Just frowned upon.
Not against the ToS unless classified under the 'otherwise objectionable' section, in which any member of Riot may say "I don't like your username" and use their godly powers to change anything to what they wish.
