Two Week Suspension over Differing Viewpoints

Hey guys, I recently got handed out a two week long suspension, with riot giving me three chat logs that they deemed reportable. First off, the numbers seem slightly skewed. From the end of season 6, to now without about 3 games played a day, I highly doubt 3 games was enough to warrant a 14 day suspension straight off the bat, without any prior behavioral issues that I can remember, apart from a leaverbuster thing that I got from having some minor internet issues.

I felt this was a bit weird, so I reviewed the chat logs to see if there was any recurring theme. Turned out that there was. In every one of those games, I would have asked in all chat for a teammate who was either intentionally feeding, or being excessively toxic to be reported. The only toxic thing that I can find in those chat logs was a "You deserve to lose this, garbage team" in response to a bot lane duo who had been cussing and ping spamming everyone else all game.

Another recurring theme was me stating that Tumblr and the safe space culture it bred was toxic. Since I never swore at anyone, never started an argument and basically expressed happiness at the Trump presidency, and my distaste of the Tumblr culture, I'm interested to hear the feedback of the community to see how this managed to score a 2 week ban, with no priors. I could post chat logs here if anyone is curious. I'd like to get some actual Riot response towards this.

The reason you were punished is asking for reports. It's considered harrasement.

There is no reason to ask for reports as 1 report will trigger the bot the same way as 9. If you think someone needs to be reported just do it, don't ask other people to do the same. He won't be punished faster or harsher if you all report him.

Go ask a red or a mod. Or simply read up on how the system works if you're the tinfoil hat type of a guy and don't trust the authority.

They only provide a few logs, that doesn't mean it's everything that contributed to the punishment. As for why it was a 14 day ban even with no prior chat restrictions, severe behavior can result in skipping tiers; that's most commonly the use of hate speech or making threats.

I recommend posting those logs. If it doesn't look like there's anything that would normally result in skipping tiers I'd submit a ticket and ask for more information.

Toxicity and Negativity are interchangeable terms. Both mean essentially the same thing You were negative therefore you were toxic, You were toxic therefore you were negative. They're the same side on the coin. If you want to put a scale on it that is fine, but it doesn't change my opinion on the issue that both mean the same thing.

I believe someone mentioned this already, but you're only given 3 games that doesn't mean there is not more against you. If you feel the punishment is unfair, open a support ticket.
In addition I would recommend https://privacy.riotgames.com/en_US/ going through the steps here, to get access to your account history(kinda useful information)
