So these 2 games i was super toxic as a response to the trolls who intalocked in the champ select and on top of that they where extremely toxic when ever i died, would not call MIA, and would not gank when i was getting camped. I also had bad games before this regarding 12 year olds talking so much shit and thinking they are SivHD or some shit trying to backdoor with full tank voli or Leblank. ITS CANCER THAT I AM PLACED WITH THERE LEVEL GROUP. so i spazz out in ONLY these 2 games and i get reported for having a LIMIT as a fucking HUMAN BEING. Like what the hell is this crap, am i not allowed to have a temper or a limit to how many insult i can take before snapping?! Does RIOT expect me to be a damn emotionless robot. Like what the actual fuck man, IM HUMAN AND I HAVE A TEMPER. i got a 10 game chat restriction immediately, no 5 game or anything what kind of BS is this.

No. Just no. You don't respond to a problem by allowing it to keep happening. You either fight it back with equal force or tell them not to do such a thing. Doing the latter would result in even worse actions from the other. Either way it's not going to matter, the majority of LoL's community is retarded.

The whole "But they started it!" argument does NOT work here. You willingly typed up your responses and pressed enter on your own. No one was forcing you to chat like that., you did that own your own. You could have just muted them and not responded negatively to their messages and not get punished because of your chat.

This community is not screwed. There are many players who are not toxic who want to see the community be a better place to enjoy playing the game. As someone stated before:

Mute, report, move on.

It will help a lot. I would also suggest listening to some music to keep you calm (its what I do at times). Keeping a calm and collected attitude will keep you going fine. Its when someone snaps and just rages at the other players when it becomes a problem. And if you report players that are obviously doing something to make a game just not fun at all (whether it is chat or gameplay based) please report them so no one else has to deal with those players. It will help this community get better.

Actually Reform Cards only pull from the most recent games that you were reported in. In order to have a Reform Card you have to be valid reported in multiple games. Getting reported in just one or two games alone won't get you punished unless the behavior is extremely bad (i.e. death threats, racist comments, etc.).

Yes human beings have tempers. And mature human beings learn to control those tempers. All of us get angry; not all of us decide to react in a manner that's going to get us punished. Being angry isn't an excuse in real life any more than it is in game.

You can defend yourself so long as it's done in a neutral or positive manner. The moment that you start harassing them back it's no longer you defending yourself, it's just you being a jerk. From Understanding the Tribunal:

If they didn't care then they wouldn't try to reform or get rid of jerks who like to abuse and harass others, nor would they reward positive behavior with stuff like free mystery skins either. The way I see it the people who claim that Riot doesn't care about its players are usually the ones who are still mad that they got punished for being jerks.

Yes, but if that were what they were trying to accomplish, they wouldn't bother with chat restrictions, or a two week suspension; they would just go straight to perma-ban every time.

That's been the long standing conspiracy theory. There's also the small possibility they don't want the language these toxic people use being used in a game for teens. The argument that teens are already exposed to it is irrelevant. There are kids playing and they don't need to see half the stuff he posted.

Just stop. This is a really silly argument. I didn’t pay for my account any more than you did and while I have bought a number of things, I didn’t have to. There’s nothing relevant to competitive play that I couldn’t have bought with IP.

Also, Riot actively discourages people from making new accounts.

  1. While that's true Riot has ways of tracking peoples smurf accounts, so if need be they can just ban all of their accounts right away. Not only that but lower level accounts are judged more harshly than higher leveled accounts are for just such an occasion. Also, if the accused keeps trolling then they'll just keep getting banned over and over again until they either shape up or ship out.

  2. That's false, people who troll via gameplay are in fact punished. A recent example of such can be found here. They may not be as vocal about their punishments as those that are banned for verbal toxicity are but they are indeed punished.

He got banned because he intentionally trolled and afked in games. It doesn't matter if it was a ranked game or not, the rules apply to all game modes. Here's the full Slumber Jack response to their punishment:

What you're actually doing is consistently throwing games at the last minute or trolling by doing things like standing in base/towers and refusing to level up/use skills throughout the entire game (across multiple games). Just because you're not using chat to be offensive or feeding doesn't mean what you're doing isn't reportable or punishable.

Players report you because you're intentionally throwing games, but because you're not doing it by feeding players are choosing to report you for both feeding and offensive language to report you for intentionally refusing to cooperate. The reform card you receive is determined by the reports you receive, hence why you are being sent ones meant for chat abuse.

Again, he got banned for intentionally throwing and ruining multiple games. "raging 12 year olds" had nothing to do with it: he got banned for his actions and his actions alone.
