I realize I died a whole bunch, but I wasn't intentionally feeding. I was just playing a norm game with my bf and when the game loaded my resolution wasn't right and it was cutting off the bottom of the screen (I couldn't see my skill bar, chatbox, or mini map. (We fixed it afterwards, turned out to be a TV setting). I tried to do the best that I could as Riven, but once you fall behind it is hard to catch up. My bf even told everyone in game it was a resolution issue and even died while afk under the turret trying to fix it (he was playing as Lux). I feel like I would have been better off leaving the game once I fell so far behind as I most likely wouldn't have been banned or would have been banned for a shorter duration. Is that the lesson Riot is trying to teach? I feel pretty bad about this because I never say anything mean in chat I just try to do a good job playing. I used to play ranked (climbed from bronze to silver last season) but the people in game would get so mad when we lost that I started to only play norms as I just like having fun playing with my bf. My best friend just ordered a laptop and the three of us were hoping to all play together when it comes in the mail, and now I got a 14 day ban :(

If you look at last few minutes of the game Ziggs wasn't even fighting anymore even though the rest of us tried until the end. Why doesn't he get a ban for giving up while I get a ban for trying? Perhaps the auto ban system shouldn't apply to feeding cases since sometimes players report feeding on someone who is having a bad game.

I don't need to continue, pretty much followers that pattern this would appear to be intent feeding, you clearly did not change you play style to resolve the differences. You walked into lane died, respawned, walked into lane and died That is how it looks regardless of it you intended to do it or not

The notion you think this person was intentionally feeding, when clearly they were not. It looks like a very bad game, and a very bad matchup. Considering they are newer to league, playing normals, and playing a champion like riven, shows that they just didn't get the matchup and didn't know how to play the lane. Looking at the match history of this player, they clearly obviously try to win their games (and win a good margin), and I don't see ANY indication of purposeful feeding.

Get off your high horse and realize people have bad games, yes, even like this.

i'd like to point out what I said, again just to be clear Where did I say he was feeding "appear to be intent feeding"- note the word appear -seem; give the impression of being. I stated what it looked like, I made no judgement about weather he did or didn't aim to win. It is very apparent he died alot and in rapid succession if you please can show me where I came off as he intent fed, therefore punishment is correct, I wish to clear this error up As, I do think he had a bad game.

It follows a pattern of... she had a bad matchup and does poorly on riven overall. You don't get punished for having a bad game, which this was. It wasn't intentional feeding. It may have been feeding, but not intentional. Hence, not a reportable or bannable offense.

The pattern I was referencing was the fact op died on avg less than 2 mins "You walked into lane died, respawned, walked into lane and died" which again I state directly after I declared a pattern in the game again I ask where Did I state OP was intent feeding and deserves the punishment.

Thats the exact problem I'm talking about. You can go have a game just like the Op did in Ranked and avoid all punishment due to "just a bad game". At some point, players need to held accountable for feeding whether it was done intentionally or not, which isn't something that can be easily proven anyway.

Players should ONLY be held accountable for intentional feeding. Unintentional feeding = bad game. How hard is that to understand?

Hooray Riot fixed it!!!! They also reminded me about the remake function. I'll be reading up on it for sure before I start another game in case any other technical issues happen. I did fix the resolution one though. My bf found a "fit to screen" option hidden in the settings. I need to work on not feeding when I fall behind next time in a tough lane match up. I had never seen a Tristana top before and had no idea how to deal with her range, damage, and that frustrating escape.

Thanks everyone for the morale support. I always feel like the internet is full of trolls but you guys were all quite polite and understanding of my situation. Back to the fields of justice, mreaow!

I mean its really hard to say since we can only go by your end game stats. But you seem to go into the double digits in death for a 30min games. Nothing wrong with that, but that could see you as feeding especially if you do it in a lot of your games. Not too sure how they figure out who intentionally feeds, but if anything you can always contact Support and see if they can give you more information on the matter!

"Intentional feeding" research is supposed to take into account game history as well. So if they continually surpass X_amount of deaths in a x-minute game, then the algorithm is supposed to consider that as normal for that player.

But we all know how well Riot's shit works as intended...

Note though that they never ban especially in these cases from just one game. Just like everything else it needs to be consistent.

Again its hard to say because we can only see your end game stats, for all we know those death could have you just walking up to the enemy, or you could have just gotten outplayed in lane. we (the community) dont know since we can only go by the stats, whereas someone at Riot more than likely watched your games and came to determine that you were intentionally feeding.

You have to be a blind leper with down syndrome to think this person was int feeding. Looking at her match history, it's VERY clear they are trying to win and playing the game as intended. In NORMALS. One bad game on riven =/= int feeding.

Make a support ticket asking politely for them to review your case. Do not add information to it, that puts you at the end of the queue.

I already submitted a ticket last night, but I did not see a spot for ban review so I submitted it to another category. I appreciate what they are trying to do as I have played with a few rammus powerball mid to feed players and it is nice they are doing something about it. 14 days seems quite harsh especially given it catches some of us who simply played bad for one game.

I believe it was a rioter that said the amount of times someone gets punished improperly (either because they did not deserve to be punished or was punished too severely) is 1 in 10,000. I don't have a link for that, but if you care to look it up I think it was Tantrum that said it.

Personally, I think 14 day suspension into perma is neither too harsh nor not harsh enough. The first punishment gets the point across and the second means they learned nothing.

I did get a 14 day ban for one game of feeding unintentionally. Looking at my match history you can tell I have actually been playing pretty well and it is the only game where I fed pretty hard, yet I got a 14 day ban. I don't type into chat (my bf types from his account because typing in game distracts me), so there is no other reason for it. They also described it as intentional feeding.

15 deaths in 20 minutes. Now that's impressive -- you can argue against it but even with a cut screen it's a huge red flag for intentionally feeding.

Definitely talk with riot support and insist on getting a real person higher up in the chain. Usually they just spam you with automated messages about bans. Thankfully it was just a 2-week ban and not a perma... but this definitely isn't ban worthy whatsoever. You clearly weren't int feeding, just having a bad game. I've seen the rest of your games and while not great, you have wins/losses just like anyone else.

Riot is a piece of shit automated company lately.

Every time I see a post like this, its in a Normal game. Very disappointing. I really wish Riot would start banning people for doing this in Ranked. Banning people for two weeks for feeding in a Normal blind pick game is just silly. Who the hell even cares?
