I got a chat restrict while I was on my last checkpoint to honor 1,

The ADC draven basically called support (me) and jungle "idiot". And I not wanted to take part of any of his business so I went to support top. The Draven basically said he will carry on his own. (And since although this IS a gesture, I simply did not even want to go near his gaming avatar because he stank of being a awful person.)

The Draven was still bickering with the jungle and I told him "Well I guess making you have a 30% winrate in ranked is by making enemies on your own team. And making anyone uncooperative." and he flipped the bird and went 4/14/2, while I was 2/2/4.

I did Chastise the Draven and ignored him afterwards it became too tedious, but is this how punishments go? Also our mid unranked lux legit said the N-word and I do not see HER punished at all. Or Draven saying "open bot". Is this it, ONE game of a toxic Draven and I'm down to zero checkpoint after 2 months of racking honors up.

Is the system legit saying I should mute whatever partner I have in botlane just in case his first word is "idiot."?

You spent a good lump-some of the match being overly negative, declaring that you refused to support Draven, that you should have dodged, that the team is terrible, pushing blame off onto Draven, and flaming Draven over his 30% winrate.

I don't get how you can be confused about this punishment.

Gloating about it afterwards is just annoying and places a target on your back.

Most of the system is automated now, so, if you get enough reports, even in a single game, the bot just hands out punishment without a person ever even looking at it. You can always send in a support ticket, but they rarely contradict the system, and you'll never know whether anything was done about the Draven or not. It's a very ambiguous and unsatisfying system, punishments handed out for minor offenses at times, and blatant violations ignored at others.

I would have done the same thing you did. Regardless of rules or "summoner codes," I refuse to spend my game making an asshole look good. If that means we lose, I'm afraid that's just the way that one goes. Riot has left us with no recourse against rude players other than to mute them and hope they get reported enough. So, I do like you did, and make their game as miserable as they made mine. It won't help me, but, hopefully, the dumbass thinks more carefully next game, and it helps the next person.
