More flak than before?

Lately in like 80% of the games me or some team mates get a lot of flack from their own team because of mistakes. This has made the toxicity rocket high and my brother just quit playing... not because of the game but because of other players. I mute all at start.

Are there any other options? reports are like candy and... useless as well
