New Player Here and My Experience with the game

Hello everyone,

I decided to share my thought and experiences from playing this game and I must say it takes its toll. My gf got me into this game and she told me it would be ruff, but this is just horrible. I tried playing Fiddle in the jungle, before that I almost always played Renekton, because he was simple enough for me and my gf explained to me how to play him.Anyways I tried playing Fiddle and I really didnt know what to do.In short i got obliterated by the enemy, and thats putting it kindly. All the while I was getting flamed by my top lane Vlad and my mid lane Lux.They were shouting at me,wishing me cancer every 20 seconds, telling me Im gay that I need to go eat a d*ck and die and so on.

I mean come on,Im level 11 for god sake, what do you want me to do? I barely started the game and suddenly I need to know everything there is to it? And I had my gf explain the game to me.I feel sad for the people who didnt even get that. If you are unhappy playing with someone who is new and cant play the game, then why in the name of all thats holy do you make a new account?! Play with someone your skill so you wont have to vent out your frustration on me. Also as if all that shouting and cursing me will suddenly make me better.

In addition to all of this, after game enemy told me that even if I report them, probably nothing will happen to them, because no one reads the reports. Seriously? You allow players like them to play this game?

Just that one game of flame should be enough to punish them for a very long time.

Sad thing is I really like the game and I really want to play, but I dont feel like I can deal with this every time I go into a new game just because Im new and noob.

yea, the new player experience is horrible, cos all the people who got banned from toxicity make new accounts and be toxic in the new levels instead.

once you get to lvl 20, it gets a bit better.

Hi this is Riot Games, aaaaand WELCOME IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS.

Honestly, leveling till lvl 30 is a failure. You have to spend many, many days till this time you will meet plenty smurfs, coz MM isnt working properly. Smurfs are destroying this game.

Also as I said in other topic, leveling system should be deleted, and all players should be same level. It would open a gate to balanced MM (matchmating). Now you are limited by silly number and your hidden ELO (MMR) that makes crazy combinations. I have junger brother who is playing this game (he has now about 20 lvl ). Every, every game he has a smurfs. Even when he is total newbie player with first account, he encounters people that makes 30/0 on master yi and so on.

Im helping my brother level up in league. I made a new account and me and him play together. we just try to have fun and not be jerks and it makes it more enjoyable. has your gf tried making a new account and playing alongside ya?

Level 11 and you're getting flamed like that? Jeez. I've occasionally gone to my level 21 account to go level it up and have a fun time (I play some Kalista there to learn attack-moving since that's the best way to play with Kalista) and some of the flaming I see there is just atrocious. Sorry you have to deal with that, but to the guy who said to, and I quote him here,

just /mute all

that is some of the most solid advice you can give a man, but I would warn you not to mute your GF in game as that can take her off your friends list accidentally (I did that once or twice without thinking to friends and corrected it immediately after... XD). Being totally serious here, a good portion of the community can just tilt off the face of the Earth from one or two salty comments but muting is the best way to stop it. I do it sometimes and I hate doing it, but at the end of the day, we all wanna win and sometimes shutting the flamers up with /mute is the best, and only way, to stop the tilt and win the game.

Best of luck to you, friend.
