So I recently played an Ez game, at first all seemed well, the enemy cheesed us hard, we got behind, but yi got a double bot lane and got me a kill, so I thought we were rolling. All seemed well. I still personally wasnt playing great, but yi was getting fed and we were still handling bot lane just fine. Yi dove in 1v3, which may have paid off cause he was strong, but he died, still no big deal, except he started flaming team for not grouping.... I told him he dove in 1v3 and is now flaming us about grouping... That set him off, he started flaming me, then the top aatrox went in flaming me too. Yi literally told me to kill myself, and we shoud FF because I suck, blah blah blah, and he literally said hes gonna just "fuk around now" because im bad and we lost... I got mad admittedly, said some things in chat, but just tried to farm back into game, because after all the "fuking around" the enemy team was smashing us in team fights. I tried to farm, and yi started flaming me about not grouping, in all chat saying to report me. I said, mimicking him "im just fuckin around"... shouldnt have, i know, im not 100% in the right, should've just muted, but i got kinda mad... He was talking shit about this "elo," flaming and what not (Gold 3-4 btw) and come to find out in the post game, this dude has 1400 games and is G4... so I had to throw a little shade after all the flame i endured. I shouldnt have i know, but i couldnt help myself. Well the guy cusses me out, and then leaves, ADDS ME TWICE to continue cussing me out, i accepted the friend request to try and catch him on a screen shot, but he blocked me before i could get the entire shot. Anyways here's the chat log. except for that "kys" that u parroted , WHICH IS BAD AND PUNISHABLE, but could lead to a support ticket to revert the ban, the entire chatlog is an escalation of harassment and negative attitude.

so, u got your 25 game restriction, the ladder raise and u get 14days ban.

since next is permaban , READ CAREFULLY THE 14DAYS BAN MESSAGE, and mute all the chat,

or go back in 15 days telling it s unfair to be permabanned for "this"

Update: I submitted a ticket and riot support checked the chat, saw my recent games and having no toxic issues in the past few months, took away the 2 week ban and restored honor as well as started to look into the yi’s behavior. But as we know privacy policy they won’t tell me his fate. Very thankful I got justice here. The support person said the same things you guys said, obviously I shoulda ignored and muted, but he even said the only thing I did to get banned was quote the “kys” and to not do that as the auto ban hammer got dropped. But my new question is, why did the yi not get the auto ban too? I checked and he was playing games right after the game in question and one, no ban? Either way I’m not hung up on that just curious. Thankful they reverted my ban and gave me the honor level back.

It's an escalating punishment system. Anything that gets you a 10 game chat restriction will get you a ban. You don't need to be "that out of line". You just need to be reported a lot for being negative/mean.

If you don't reforn, your next punishment is a permanent ban. Don't be negative, don't call people toxic, don't ask for reports, don't ask for ff, etc.

If this really was your second offense then normally you would only get a 25 game chat restriction (or something like that). Saying "kys" has a zero-tolerance policy and will auto up it to ban. You were just repeating it, but it was most likely caught by the auto-system when someone else reported you. I'm not condoning your actions though. You shouldn't have fueled the fire so to speak. You did admit your mistake and admit you should have just muted them though. I would send in a support ticket. Hopefully they'll at least lower it down to a chat restriction if they don't revert it completely. Best of luck and try not to let the toxic jerks out there get to you from now on. Just mute them and report them afterwards.

well, this is what got you banned:

'kys' is a zero tolerance phrase, and will get picked up by the IFS immediately, and it will immediately trigger a 2-week ban. I have not seen a chat restriction happening when someone said 'kys' So even without that chat restriction from January, you'd have gotten the same punishment.

Never, ever, quote what other player said. As you admitted yourself, it would have been better to just mute, ignore, and not pay the troll any attention. It shows you know better, and just slipped up this time, I guess. 2 week ban means you're on thin ice now. No more chatting AT ALL is what most people would advice you to do at this point.

If you ever meet a guy like that yi again, just respond with something troll like "^_^". Don't even respond with words just do emojis or correct his grammar. Did you report him? He should've gotten banned too if you were smart enough to report. Just next time, which I'm sure you already know, just let the angry yi be angry and don't retaliate at all.
