now i still love the mode. i will still play the mode a ton. but in my last 5 games... i got 3 feedbacks. more than i did THIS ENTIRE YEAR SO FAR! and im surprised that it wasnt 5 games. 1 enemy/teammate always goes 50/0 and some dude always goes super apeshit. its legit the most toxic mode ever and its kinda sad. cause we barely get this mode.
It's because, for some reason, people get more competetive in URF, than in ranked. The same people that feed "for lulz", will go apeshit, if you don't give your 100% in URF, it's baffling.
And those kind of people made me hate that gamemode with passion. In fact, I will actively try to avoid it and (unpopular opinion warning) I would be glad if Riot removed it indefinitely from the game.
Maybe it just speed up the toxicity too :P
Would be a bit less toxic if they brought back original URF with 10 bans.
Cause people troll in this game mode more than others and cost the team the game. People remain salty, and their playing skill drops drastically.
URF is for the true masochist, nowadays.

Urf can be super frustrating but usually it's like a snowball game. You win, you win hard and fast. It's why I don't mind it that much
I wish it never came back since it got me permabanned even though I've been reformed for literally ages. Since the mode has so much more toxicity maybe they should re-evaluate what is and isn't toxic and stop instabanning people for saying "kys".
ModPrandine8/21/2017, 6:15:28 PMI disagree. While the random aspect of the mode makes it more hectic and stressful than it might be otherwise, I think it's more the players than the mode itself. In my experience with the mode aside from some afks, queue dodgers and unsportsmanlike players that like to say "ggez" in all chat at the end of the game (usually the enemy team after they win) I have not encountered people being overly toxic via chat and/or gameplay, at least not on my teams anyways.
