Why are the bots still in Twisted Treeline?

It feels like every time I play a game in Twisted Treeline there is automated players in my game, and it has been like this for over a year now. I want to know why riot haven't tried harder to get rid of them, of just scrap the map entirely?

Riot is either:

  1. Incompetent and doesn't know to automatically flag and ban bots automatically based on in game behavior

  2. Can do more but are too lazy to care

  3. Or they just straight up don't give a fuck about player experience

Either way, weaksauce Riot... just really really weak....
