Tyler1 70% win ratio but "ruins games" nice logic

Why is a guy who wins more games than 99% of the league community (while being stream sniped and trolled because he's famous) is considered perma ban worthy for "ruining games"? This guy does nothing but climb ladder to challenger and carry people for wins and yet Riot says ruins so many games that he gets perma banned? You can't troll throw games and have a strong win ratio at the same time. It just doesn't add up.

My mind is literally blown at that logic. I'd take him on my team any day of the week in solo que. And telling his team they "suck" isn't perma ban worthy. I see that shit every other game. If Tyler1 was trolling so much he should be in bronze and not be winning more games than 99% of the community.

"Ruining games" is not strictly limited to affecting your team's chances at winning. It can also mean creating a negative impact on players' enjoyment of the game.

At the end of the day, games are meant to be fun. Competition can take away some of that at times, but the overall experience over a long period of time should still be enjoyable. Toxicity and other negative behaviors affect everyone exposed to them (whether they'll admit it or not) and greatly reduces the fun had in a particular game.

This sort of behavior is shunned in every type of community, both physical and virtual, for very sound reasons. Don't try to defend an individual at the expense of others. Especially not when the individual in question has had approximately 20 "final warnings" in the last few years.

I can do "troll builds" and still win against people whom are lesser skilled than me, typically the B4-B5s.

I'm only in B2, your point?

Typically, I can throw those games all I want and they still don't know how to come back.

And yes, Tyler1 not only trolls / throws. He is also toxic in chat and have gotten 20 accounts permabanned.

It's pretty easy to have a high win ratio when the majority of your games are with players that are a lot worse than you. I mean, if I were to jump on a level 1 account, I'm certain I could beat a 70% win ratio in my first 100 games. If I were to jump on a bronze 5 account with a huge match history, I'm fairly confident I could do the same (arguably easier, since the large history would mean my 'win streak' wouldn't raise my elo absurdly quickly). And here I am, a lowly silver 1 (gold last season).

A diamond/master tier player should have no problem maintaining a huge win ratio. I'm not saying he isn't good at winning (he's good enough to get diamond 1 / master, he obviously is good at the game), just that he's not going to maintain a 70% win ratio at diamond 1 / master tier. Maaaybe 55% at Diamond 1. His ratio is just inflated because by the time he gets in to his elo where he's winning 50-55% of his games, he's getting that account banned shortly thereafter and starts again stomping us silver and gold scrubs.

he wins when he plays against players below him. He is a diamond player, not challenger, and is a completely toxic troll. Its not like he has not been warned before. I agree that he was banned because he was famous, but he is still deserving of it, but tbh his flaming was super funny and he was a good streamer. Riot should have just banned one of his accounts, not him from the game as a whole indefinitely, which seems a bit ridiculous.

its sorda what mute is for, perma ban isnt right.... riot made a mute button to stop this, but people never use it, so its not Tyler's fault, its the people who didnt use the mute buttons fault. I would want him on my team any day. different people have different opinions, some are very sensitive, while others just want to win and climb the ladder. well this is LoL were talking about, were aiming to climb the ladder, taking a toxic player isnt gonna happpen EVERY single game, and your most likely to just take it once. he will eventually get tired of it, and people will eventually get use to it and start muting. Just bear one game with tyler, and bear the toxicity for 1 game, you get a free carry, and you get some elo. so some people might like playing with him, if they want to just climb. from my opinion, if you dont do any bad plays he wouldnt be yelling at you in the first place. And we al rage form time to time. A perma ban on tyler1 is just WRONG

Isnt he the one who gets banned a lot for being extremely toxic?
