I've been 14 day banned a couple times before and my last game i said some of the meanest things I've ever said in my entire life. I regret doing this, not just because I could be banned, but because it's totally wrong to behave like that in any circumstance. Anyways, just wondering if anyone ever got perma banned from being an asshole in chat and what punishments lead up to it?
There are 4 tiers of punishment;
Typically you move forward just one step each time you are punished, though extreme behavior can result in skipping steps. It doesn't matter what you do that triggers the punishment, you'll move forward on the escalation path, so if you are consistently negative you can eventually end up permabanned even if you think the behavior is minor. Over time if you show reform you can fall back down the escalation path too.
You're on your last chance now. Regardless of the severity of your behavior, the next punishment will be a permanent ban. Keep your nose clean for a while.
