How to improve honor?

I got my first and only chat ban like 4 months ago because I got frustrated with somebody who was inting, it took me 2 months for my honor to get unlocked and another two after that to even get the first checkpoint in honor level 1. I play every day. I can count the games I've ended without receiving at least one honor on a single hand, why is this progressing so slowly? All I want to do is play clash. I've changed my entire fucking personality so I don't get in trouble when I play league.

6 words and you get nuked from orbit by riot for half of a year. Bullshit.

Pretty much any toxicity at all will slow down your honor progress. Best bet is to just not really say anything unless it's positive.

Being Honored only makes for a small increase in Honor gains - you get more Honor from the Team Honor Bonus (when all members of your team Honor someone post-game), and it is possible your behavior could also factor into Honor gains as well, with positivity potentially being more beneficial overall than being neutral.

Additionally, being negative and breaking the rules - generally, validating reports, even if you aren't getting punished - can slow your Honor progress, so perhaps your behavior might play a part in slow progression.
