Mute should carry over to post-game screen.

Seriously, why is this so hard of a concept to get ahold of? I shouldn't have to deal with a toxic player that I have muted at the end of the game while I am looking at stats or talking to other players.

So, this likely stems from the fact that the game client and the air (lobby) client are two completely separate programs. As far as I know, the mute feature is a local feature - i.e. your machine doesn't display messages from players you've muted. For the two clients to "talk to each other" (i.e. for the mute feature to carry over), it likely isn't as easy as we would like it to be for them to implement such a feature.

That being said, I would fully support this type of feature and maybe this post can get enough traction to get someone's attention :P

I agree. It should carry over. Might not be a bad idea for when you /mute someone, it put them into your client block list or a new mute list as well.

They used to have that (/ignore playername) but I think it was removed due to a glitch where it would removed friends and put them on your block list.

post-game is "in client" and thus riot doesnt care/is too lazy.

Can i give you a tip?

Do not fckin read it! Or just don't give a shit about it. (In post game chat, it doesn't influence the game)

Improbable, the technology just isn’t there yet, maybe in the year 20xx we might find the break through to get us half way there, but right now, it’s impossible. :/ :( sry.

And /mute all shouldn't unmute someone you already muted

Would be nice. By the end of a game with 'normal players' you can get a lot of hate for muting all and then muting their pings when they passive aggressively spam ???? or other things as if they knew that their play was the right one to make despite them being dead and you being alive. It would be nice to not have to be subjected to their trash talk and chest thumping.
