I mean i understand chat bans for the things he was saying like calling me a %%%%%% feeding %%%got. And he rapes my mother threfor he is my father. but really i get a chat ban calling him bad because it made him feel bad? wtf rito common.

Disregarding the use of the word %%%got (which I know was you quoting him, but the automated system probably doesn't know and repeating it in chat doesn't do anyone any favors), asking for reports is a reportable offense as well. You don't need help reporting a troll. 1 report per game carries the same weight as 9 per game.

See, here's the thing: you responded to his bad behavior by repeating the same he threw at you. That makes you guilty. He's guilty as well. You were reported for the offensive language and was punished. If the first guy was reported, he was punished too.

Next time, don't fire back at him. Just smile, report him after the game, and play your next game without fear of Riot punishing you for anything.

I know we have our trolls that like to play the rekt card, but anyone that gets a chat ban gets a copy of all games taken into account. i had 1 game taken into account i copy pasted the results. So if i am getting a 24 game chat ban for asking ppl to report him how does that make sense?

If two people who don't know each other coincidentally rob a bank at the same time, and one robber shoots and kills somebody, but the other doesn't hurt anybody, does that mean that the second robber should not be punished at all since he didn't commit the worst crime?

You were mean, you got punished for it. How mean any of the other 9 players were during said match is completely irrelevant.

Asking for reports is not a reportable offense. That's just some BS somebody made up and everybody went along with. You have to actually demand reports in a way that meets the definitions of harassment. Asking people to report an obvious problem player is about as much harassment as asking somebody to kill Kim Jong Un.

I'm almost positive the reason you got banned is because you repeated Voli's hate speech and the report system isn't smart enough to figure that much out on its own.
