A User asking a "Friend" in Riot to Ban

So, this person in a Co-op vs AI match, was literally telling me they were going to ask a friend in Riot to ban my account for the reason, "He was being a d***". I'm here asking if They're even allowed to do it. And they were persistent that they knew "What they were talking about" and "what they were doing"... As far as I am concerned it is illegal to ban an account from the game for a non-viable or good reason, as such that was mentioned. That game they were playing as Tristana . As such, I do not think, a Riot Employee is allowed to do such without proper reasoning. So, if a Riot employee would, tell me if I am correct as far as what I've said so far. There was no appropriate reason to report me or is there one for banning my account.

Thank you, Dreadbot8001

They can ask anything they want.....whether anything comes of it is a different story. Also, for all you know.....their "friend" could be the janitor lmao.

First, no they wont ban without probable cause. Second, you cannot name shame on the boards. So you need to remove his name.

Because of the terms of service Riot, doesn't really need a reason to ban your account. That being said, I highly doubt that Trist was telling the truth. That just sounds like what someone would say in game to be annoying and even if he is, I dont see Riot abusing their ToS like that.

Over the years a couple of Rioters have abused their position to grief and/or ban people. They all got fired.

However because of these actions very few rioters actually have the ability to manually ban someone now. So it's no longer a matter of someone losing an entry level job, it would require someone to basically through their entire career away.

The odds of you getting banned without proper reasoning is very very low.
