well i havent afked in a year! and riot hates me so much i still have 20 minute wait times. ive spent a lot of money on my account. im fixing to quit. like this is stupid. i afk because of a computer crash.

you are talking about draft mode? how did you queue? guessing something like top/mid?

i was playing ranked. my computer crashed. i had to many things running. then i came back. and i had wait times.

Sucks that this happened to you, but unfortunately there's not much Riot can or will do about a case like this (other than help you ensure that your computer won't likely crash in the future). Leaverbuster, the system that punishes afks/disconnects, is completely automated and make no distinctions between the types of disconnects (it can't and Riot couldn't either, intentions are taken on faith, not fact).

It's also worth noting that how much money you spent on your account is irrelevant, as all players are treated equally when it comes to player support and punishments. A person with $600 invested into an account will face the exact same consequences as a player that is F2P.

Is there a way that I, or someone else could help (aside from lifting the Low Priority Queue, as Riot already stated they don't do that)?

i just dont understand why it didnt go down after a year! i even got notified that i didnt leave so much like 6 times and they were happy and said thanks

From what I've read here and there, it's likely that it did go down actually. However, to accommodate the player base's outcries for a more strict AFK detection system specifically in Ranked games, it's been tuned so that LeaverBuster flags for Ranked games carry more weight than say disconnecting from a norm or ARAM.

And yeah, it really sucks especially when you're not an intentional AFKer nor suffer from frequent disconnects. But, you have to remember that this is literally what the community spent years asking for. Riot listened, and they delivered. Though cases like this are unfortunate, the number of cases where players intentionally afk from Ranked games has also dropped drastically since Season 3 which is when I started, so at least the system is working for you in that manner.

first step is 5 then 10 then 20 minutes, your computer crashes often, right? I had in one week: 1 computer crash and 1 game where i had to go afk because reallife problems. Nothing happend to me, you have to go afk regular for a waiting time.
