Worried about Perma-ban

Hey guys,

I understand that I was toxic enough to get a 2 week ban, but I'm more concerned about a perma-ban. After receiving my punishment, I scrolled through some posts in this board and saw that ppl got permabanned right after a 2 week suspension even though they haven't typed anything at all and got false reports on them. I request an arbiter or rioter to please check if this is true. I can't even sleep now thinking about this. I srsly want to reform. Playing since S2, I've been punished in the past but have been quick to reform. After a couple of years, things have went down in spirals in my life and I took it out on the game this season. I want to redeem myself and lower my penalty. Additionally, any accurate information on how long it would take me to lower my punishment level would be nice. Thanks a lot guys!

If there's no chat logs in their thread, then they are lying.

The likeliness of you getting banned for a genuinely false report is next to nothing.

HOWEVER

As you are on your last life, almost any hint of toxicity will result in a permaban, even if that last offense is relatively mild. This is because you are on your last chance, and Riot has just about given up on you.

To our knowledge, punishments scale down one tier every 3 months, so in 3 months time, if you haven't shown any toxicity, you will once again go down to a 14 day ban. With this in mind, I recommend (just to be on the safe side) to mute all at the start of the game, and rely on pings to communicate with your team. Don't do or say anything you wouldn't say to your boss, teacher, mother, etc. You will probably want to start off the game with a polite message to your team that you will be muting everyone at the start of the match, in an effort to avoid toxicity, something like:

Hi all, I'm really trying to reform my behavior, so to do that, I will be muting chat at the start of the match. I will use pings to communicate with the team. Good luck, and have fun.

I scrolled through some posts in this board and saw that ppl got permabanned right after a 2 week suspension** even though they haven't typed anything at all and got false reports on them**.

You will also see, that each time someone claims that to be the case, he refuses to show the reform-card EMail he received, or claims that there was none.

Hmmm, why would that be, I wonder... http://today.uconn.edu/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/sherlock-holmes-basil-rathbone.jpg

Most of those threads where they "Didn't type anything" are flat out lying. They just REFUSE to post their chat logs that got them banned. And only wish to play the "But I'm innocent!" card which is a load of BS!

Anyways: If you are willing to reform and be a better player then any report on you (especially if you haven't actually done anything that IS punishable) will be considered false reports and tossed out. After 3 months of improved behavior your punishment will drop one tier. So if after 3 months you do end up slipping bad and end up being toxic often again you will get another 14 day ban. BUT! If you wholly keep to being a better player then you will continue dropping a punishment tier every 3 months! Eventually you will be a wholly reformed player and have learned your lesson of what you did was not being productive to your team and only made it worse for those you played with.

All honesty here: I truly hope you improve as a player and reform completely! Best of luck! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

If you play ranked at all, I suggest stopping until you've lowered your punitive tier. A lot of summoners have problems keeping their temper under wraps when their are tangible stakes on the line and I'd think you value your account more than a shiny border this season.

Maybe chill and play bot matches and ARAMs for a few weeks?

Here's how you keep from getting perma-banned. Don't play.

All joking aside, there's not much you can do with Riot's auto-ban-bot rolling around.
