lvl 30+ bronze and silver players in Coop vs AI games

now im sure everyone has made some smurfs or something, and first 3 levels you gotta play Coop vs AI. Now i made my first smurf on diffirent region about 2 years ago and then i tought they only played it for fun 1 game, but as i made more alts on more regions i realize now how low have the people with 10% win rates fallen.

Whenever i make a new account and i see someone with Flash and Ignite or anything else then ghost and heal in a coop vs ai beginner game, i know that its them. Silver5-Bronze5 players, who are too bad to win 1 pvp game for daily quest so they have to finish their first win of the day on coop vs ai. And my question is... why?? i mean there is no shame in being silver or bronze, but this.... this is just point blank sad. You really cant bring yourself to win 1 game?? if you get in games with these guys check their op.ggs, youll find histories full of 0/8 games

That is really some trash logic. What does a players elo have to do with it? If you want a quick and easy first win of the day bonus, a bot game will always be the easiest and fastest way to do it.

There are multiple reasons why someone would choose to do Co-op VS Ai in low rank situations and even medium rank situations,

  1. Learning a New Champ ( I never want to suck in a PVP game and be the sole reason we lost the game because I did not know the champ)
  2. Missions that do not require PVP ( Expecially the ones that say you need to win, for me personally I like to knock as many as i can in the first day the missons come out)
  3. First win of the day( makes it faster)
  4. Low on Time for something (Has happened to me sometimes and I do not want to start a PVP when I know I am low on time)
  5. Some people do not like playing PVP but they enjoy the game.

I always thought it was funny when I had my plat border and did PvE games. The fact is, it's fast, and almost guaranteed to get you first win of the day.

Actually i don't trust randoms to not throw a normal game or make the game last longer than it should have lasted.

Here's an example from one of my rank games. https://i.imgur.com/oOtv4Gc.png Do you see how fed that kat was? With a kat that fed the game should have ended at 25 minutes at the latest.

But no the donger wants to keep split pushing (when he kept getting solo killed BTW) and my ezreal wanted to do nothing but farm side lanes when we easily could have just 5 man with the kat and roflstomp the enemy team in fights. Thanks to those two players the game lasted 15 minutes longer.

So no i'll take the 15 minute bot game win over wasting more time cause of other players when my only goal for the day is missions.

Ever had a day where you're busy? At the end of the night you find yourself with say, 30 or 40 minutes of free time before you should hit the hay? You think hmmm... I don't really have time to commit to a full game... I know! I'll just stomp some bots in vs ai. Then I'll get my first win of the day bonus, AND I don't risk wasting everyone's time if the game goes long.

That's just one simple, not hard to think of, reason.

Personally, I like playing the occasional vs ai just because I'm too high, or tired or some shit and I want a casual game where I'm not ruining anyone's shit because I don't really feel like giving it my all. I usually go AD heimer, ad zyra, AD kennen or soraka. Basically, I just build fucked up and see what I can do with it. Also, I pray for bots. 2v5 vs ai is actually pretty fun when you have 3 bots sitting in jungle doing nothing.

We have a LCS viewing group that as a whole all but swore off actually playing LoL. A little while ago we started to get together to whomp on AI bots to get back into the swing of things and decompress after a rough day of work. Kind of like an office softball team. Sure when missions popped up we'd play some ARAM and such, but overall we didn't want the tryhard environment to mess with the particular culture we built up. Some people change quite a bit when playing versus people and just don't want the stress or what it does to them.

It can also be that some of us are much slower in skill development, building mechanical skill, or just getting in the right mindset. We actually have some really really good players, but just don't have the confidence to really keep up with going through ranked.

Also, some of us recently discovered Ultimate Bravery lately so we also have fun doing stupid builds but still trying to win - but don't want to subject random people to it in a "real" match. Going against AI you can still win even under rather difficult circumstances. (Our poor Sivir that got "forced" to build nothing but speed and armor. Guy was a trooper though and fought hard!)

And as others have said - time. Sometimes we just want a sub 20 minute squash to just get the win out of the way and move on.

Some people just like to farm XP or practice. It's better to practice in a more "natural" environment than to use the practice tool.

Not sure why you're calling out people out for wanting to play vs bots to warmup or practice. I'm pretty sure some high level pros even do it. What, you're gonna call them bad too?
