I am curious and somewhat suspicious

Most of the time when i visit this section of the forum, i see players complaining that they were banned for nothing, and that they didn't get an email (from Riot) explaining why. My question is that, is this a bug? Were the bans unintentional?

Typically, those players are shown to be lying (or delusional) when their chat logs are finally posts and the contents are obviously toxic.

For those complaining about third party bans, most of them are just trying to escape punishment.

Anyways, an email is sent when a player is banned by the automated system.

If the ban is manually performed by a Riot employee, no automated email is sent and you have to create a support ticket for more information.

those typically are manual reviews, the account is normally suspended for various reasons and the email sometimes is late and doesn't come right away.

Considering how large the league population is you have to expect alot of people get banned.

And a majority of those people come to this forum to do whatever they can to get back at riot or protest their ban. Most of them are lying about "unfair bans" or simply dont look for the email

If there isn't an email right away, it's typically because of a manual review or the person checked the wrong email address or such nonsense.

These bans are deserved. You can be assured of that.

As well as the manual bans mentioned already, there are also people who made their account 3 years ago using an email account they don't use anymore and probably have a report and just don't know it.

Ya not tryin to sound rude,but majority of the time it's best not to believe these types of people. Either they are impatient of waiting, or flat out lying they didn't receive an email. Granted like others have said though manual reviews don't give you an email but common sense would tell you to just contact support if that's the case!
