Chat restricted but didn't say anything negative?

I was just in a game where my team mates were kind of bad mouthing the enemy team and I literally hadn't said anything. Both teams were apparently smurfs with new accounts, and I had just lost my account. I don't think it's entirely relevant to this instance, but I'll explain; I was reported because I had expressed frustration at a guy who looked up my op.gg and flamed me, and I admit that I got aggravated at the guy for giving up before it started and telling me that I was garbage and hard stuck. What's the point of queing. started to int feed in a ranked immediately. So because the guy fed, my team mates tried to tell me that it was my fault for getting mad?

Anyway, my team was talking about being smurfs with the enemy team, and I literally was not in the conversation, I barely typed anything if at all in /all chat. I might've said, probably not even in all chat, that I felt bad for the enemy team because my team had higher ranked smurfs. But I literally said nothing bad about anyone. After this being my second ban, I'm trying to not get frustrated towards toxic players even though they seem to be in nearly every game, which only stoops me down to their level in my non-toxic team mates' eyes apparently and actually blames me for their behavior which would've occurred regardless of my reaction, which is something that I personally will never understand about league players when it comes to trolls, but I digress.

Am I at risk to be reported just for winning a game and penalized, even if I don't type a single thing, just because the auto-report system recognizes my IP as having had multiple past infractions? Am I inevitably going to just get perma banned again for bad mouthing or afking or something just because enough people report me for it? Because I don't want to waste my time if I've learned my lesson and end up having my past held against me anyway. I might as well play something else. Probably already wasted 200$ on this game between my last two accounts, yes, I had gotten banned twice now... but I suppose that's good for the company, eh? I suppose... What do they care about any one customer personally in a blurred-line situation like this, if I shell out another 100$ for nothing and am on good behavior but because a bunch of baseless auto-reports pile up over a half a year I get banned again anyway for no actual reason.

What's even crazier is that this account is new, I've only played maybe two dozen games on it and have muted all for 98% of them, and the remaining 2% I barely typed other than to communicate game tactics and said nothing negative. And I still get chat restricted for like 10 games, right off the bat, and had not said anything wrong.

Chat restricted but didn't say anything negative?

You're going to need to post your chat logs that you were given if you want people to judge for themselves.

The IFS doesn't punish an account based on the punishment history of any other account.

If it did, then people at college campuses and net cafes would be unable to play the game.

A new account is on a shorter leash because punishments are based on toxicity/time and there isn't much time there.

A report against you where the IFS finds no negativity on your end does nothing against you. It has no relevance to any punishments issued by the IFS. The report is still logged so that a manual review (incredibly rare) would be able to look for things that the IFS missed.

Being reported for bad-mouthing or AFKing will of course move your account closer to being punished or cause a punishment.

The number of reports doesn't matter at all. 1 report does the same thing as 9 reports. Another way to consider it is that any report after the first one from a single game is wasted and useless, thrown out and discarded.

It is BECAUSE they care about their players and their players' experiences that they ban people, not because they don't care.

Here's the log. Literally just one game's chat in the log. And nothing here is chat restriction-worthy as far as I can see. I fail to see anything that crosses a line. I used the word 'shit' and 'fucked', but other than that, I see nothing.

Wont Wash Off: MY BRAND (they made a joke or whatever and it made me think of that commercial with the glasses where the guy cries out dramatically "my brand!" Wont Wash Off: ok Wont Wash Off: good to hear Wont Wash Off: their team's squishy Wont Wash Off: for the most part Wont Wash Off: true Wont Wash Off: mine just got perma'd Wont Wash Off: for raging at an int feeder who trash talked my op.gg before the game started Wont Wash Off: im high silver/low gold Wont Wash Off: havent been playing that long Wont Wash Off: brb Wont Wash Off: gj thus far Wont Wash Off: they have sheit cs (REFERRING TO ENEMY LANE, TYPED IN LOCAL CHAT) Wont Wash Off: this bot lane is garbage tier (REFERRING TO ENEMY LANE, TYPED IN LOCAL CHAT) Wont Wash Off: as are most Wont Wash Off: in low lvl blind Wont Wash Off: np Wont Wash Off: next back Wont Wash Off: ill be too bursty Wont Wash Off: now i have ult Wont Wash Off: xd Wont Wash Off: lmao Wont Wash Off: ill brb Wont Wash Off: you're sure they're smurfs? (A JOKE, REFERRING TO ENEMY LANE, TYPED IN LOCAL CHAT) Wont Wash Off: they're probably bronze smurfs then (A JOKE, REFERRING TO ENEMY LANE, TYPED IN LOCAL CHAT) Wont Wash Off: which doesn't count Wont Wash Off: <_< Wont Wash Off: lol Wont Wash Off: bot ganked Wont Wash Off: 4 bot Wont Wash Off: yeah Wont Wash Off: they know that if they dont aram bot lane they're fcked Wont Wash Off: xd

Ok, and I was wrong, I did speak in all chat. But there's literally nothing wrong with anything that I said. To contextualize this portion; I told 'em that they know they'd be screwed because I had like 70 CS to the enemy adc's like 30 and I was stomping them. Their whole team literally came bot to kill me and I'll admit I was a little irked at that, so I said that. There's nothing wrong with that. Then enemy Jax said something kind of trash talky like 'dont be mad mane cuz top lane fed bro' so I told him I didn't care. Then later-game, enemy Tryndamere asked me what rank my previous account was, because he wanted to camp bot to have an easier time. Then he tried to catch me out while splitting bot, and I escaped and told him I knew he was coming. Then they asked why we (my team) were smurfing and I explained that this was now my main account, so I'm lvling an account, not trying to stomp newer players)

Wont Wash Off: you're smart Wont Wash Off: you know that if you dont aram bot lane, you lose Wont Wash Off: xd Wont Wash Off: were u goin Wont Wash Off: idc that your top is fed mane Wont Wash Off: silver 1 at the time Wont Wash Off: feels bad Wont Wash Off: technically im a smurf too. but i lost my account Wont Wash Off: so you're not gonna have an easier time bot lane <_< i was S1 but had been low gold Wont Wash Off: nope Wont Wash Off: knew you'd try to cheese me Wont Wash Off: cause you have nothing better to do than try to catch me out. lol Wont Wash Off: my account got perma banned for getting mad at a troll Wont Wash Off: not really smurfing. im not playing to have an unfair advatage

And this is the final stretch of the chat log. Is any of this actually offensive in any way? What exactly crosses the line? I fail to see anything wrong with anything that was said. It was basically a chilled out conversation amongst my team about the differences of skill from bronze to gold, with one guy saying bronze to plat are as bad as each other, one disagreeing, me being sort of in-between, etc. Nobody seemed offended or expressed any resistance to anything said?

Wont Wash Off: xd Wont Wash Off: lemme go delete caitlyn (which I did do, on a slightly unrelated note. multiple times) Wont Wash Off: i guess so. but you still have to be decent to climb from bronze to gold Wont Wash Off: i know plenty of people who are not nearly as good as me who will never get anywhere close to gold. i agree that ranks mean not Wont Wash Off: nothing tho Wont Wash Off: anyone can get lucky or unlucky Wont Wash Off: with lots of good players or trolls Wont Wash Off: dude didnt play like he was plat. lol (enemy support said his main was plat, I said this in local chat) Wont Wash Off: XD Wont Wash Off: ive beaten plats before. meh Wont Wash Off: there is and isnt, really Wont Wash Off: some deserve to be higher Wont Wash Off: some dont Wont Wash Off: before trynd comes :-0 Wont Wash Off: btw Wont Wash Off: the way i see it is Wont Wash Off: even a diamond player cant carry when a lane feeds super hard Wont Wash Off: because the game aint designed that way Wont Wash Off: at some point the enemy is so far ahead they can literally click on you and kill you Wont Wash Off: doesn't take a mechanically skilled player to even do that Wont Wash Off: xd Wont Wash Off: dont blame em Wont Wash Off: I WANT A KIKLL (team mate Ryze was literally deleting enemy team and I was scrambling to try and get a kill or two for myself at that point) Wont Wash Off: DANGIT Wont Wash Off: >;'-( (as we take their nexus)

So... Those four lines where I said enemy lane had shit cs and were garbage, then later said that they must be bronze smurfs enough to get a 10 game chat restrict? None of that was said in all chat so they would've never had any idea I'd said it. No one on my team relayed any of it back to them. So why did I get a chat restrict. I don't even think any of it broke any real in-game chat rules (hate speech, physical threats, etc) Someone in the post-game lobby did say "you should flash emotes to harass people instead of arguing and bad mouthing them" and I was wondering who they were even talking to since I never bad mouthed anyone on my team and anything I said about the enemy team (which as you can read was all very tame?) was in local chat? So what's going on here?

That's about as offensive as the whole chat log gets? Surely the average league chat has worse than this. The last chat log that I posted on the board was from my first account that got perma'd, and I DID use colorful language and a physical threat to some random person that I could've never actually done anything to and wasn't really planning on, and the mod that responded told me that competitive trash talk within reason is not a punishable offense but physical threats or hate speech/highly colorful language is which I was at least guilty of a threat/colorful language. I literally didn't even swear in this log, besides saying the word 'shit' and 'fucked' directed towards no person specifically who had read it.

So, how would I go about repealing this if possible? Why should I have to have my honor level dropped for such a mild and inoffensive chat that literally contained no profane language, no threats of violence or other graphic acts, no racism/sexism/homophobia/etc, no direct negative comments towards anyone... Is there a way that even if I finish the 10 games (I am almost done with them) that my honor level can be restored without me having to manually just grind out a few dozen games with my team and enemy team all muted? I don't feel as though I really deserved this, and I can't see what anyone can really nit-pick at to deem as punishable. I'd love to know what such a person would single out, and explain to me how it falls under any of the typical chat infractions that make up the majority that I'd listed in my post.
