Why are toxic people not punished?

I have played hundreds of ranked games, EVERY GAME there is someone telling me to go kill myself, drink bleach, calling me bad every 3 seconds, post game chat we have people saying how our team blows and the game was too ez ect. I have reported sooo many and not one got banned. If some one tells me to take my own life (not just to me, but to allot of others), why are they not punished for it. Every game i play its horrible with the amount of toxic individuals out there. Why is there not a better method of punishment for these individuals?

As you can tell im quite angry as i have just played multiple games in a row where i have received death threats and had the other team be assholes and tell our team how garbage we were.

People are getting punished I assure you, but similarly to rats they breed faster than they can be culled. Just keep on wading through the mess and reporting those you can while keeping yourself as clean as possible. Wouldn't want you to fight fire with fire and end up getting banned would we?

Finally riot tries their best to get players to reform instead of outright banning them, so likely you won't get a message notifying you of a punishment. Also from my experience if you're offline you will not get the message.

They are punished. This community is toxic and you're going to run into them regardless. If you're expecting riot to remove all the toxic ppl first so you can play with non-toxic players, then the previous game you've played will be the last league game you play because there'll be no one left.

No- but seriously- Riot has always had a 'hands-clean' policy when it came to passive-aggressive players. Honestly- any society that punishes aggression more than passive-aggression is a cowardly society. You're basically saying it's okay to be an asshole- but you have to be a pussy about it and provoke the other person first.

I'm just waiting for this new election to be over, and people to start being picked off for their cowardice. The League Community is really just cowardly try-hards with a god-complex. Every Bronze players is a Challenger ELO held back by a support that was in the wrong spot for 2 seconds.

Alright riot employee, I understand that we arent supposed to say something back etc. But I am so tired of losing ranked games constantly due to people who troll or get triggered by nothing and lose the game. Ive spent thousands of hours and a lot of money on this game and never had a single toxicity problem. So why does my report never do anything as somebody who is in high silver trying to try to climb to gold it is infuriating when Im 1 game away from promos and I get trolled or after 5 games over 1 week I get demoted because there is a toxic troll in that game. I have played this game since the end of season 2 and only really started playing ranked this season and this experience has made me not only hate playing this game but hate playing other games because Im already frustrated by how toxic thid community is. Not really sure what you can do to fix this problem but you need to do something.

riot wants their money thats why they arent truly punished. but once your face begins to get associated with their company they will either hire you or permaban you.

Unless you are playing with the same person you cant immediately assume your ONE interaction with a person makes them overall toxic.

I just got permabanned for being toxic. Never told people to kill themselves or anything just cursing so yeah people do get banned :P just you do you boo and dont let anyone bring you down. Have a nice day.
